No it wasn't. I actually enjoyed reading this =)

Akane paused for a few seconds, and then nodded.  Then she grabbed Ranma

Somehow, I just knew it was Ranma. I guess it was because you mentioned
that Ranma had left. Besides, I noticed that WAFF tag so it must mean
something warm and fuzzy. And of course, if it had been Kuno, then it
wouldn't have been considered WAFF <g> It's too bad that now I know that
Ranma's mother does find out about Ranma's curse. You see, I've only been
introduced to the series a short while ago, and I ad no idea if she finds
out. But then again, at least I don't know how she finds out.
