A time not too long ago, In a Galaxy everyone likely wishes were far FAR
away... -_^
Ed:<waves>Hi, everyone. You're no doubt wondering why I'm in this heavily
armored and defended bunker deep (several hundred meters, actually) below
Genom Tower, surrounded by hoards of B-12 combat boomers, crazed Kzin
warriors, psychopathic homicidal Klingons, and my girls Minerva and Aili.
Not to mention my Mystery Guest. Say 'Hi', Mystery Guest.
Mystery Guest: Hi, Mystery Guest.
Ed: <groans> That was awful.
MG: <smirks> Yeah, I know.. I have to get my shots in while I can, you
KNOW our lives won't be worth much by the end of this note!
Ed: Well, anyway, as I said before, we're going to go where NO ONE has
gone before, and we're liable to pay the price. That's why the defences.
With a little luck, we'll be able to finish this project _before_ a
certain person comes to kill us. I hope.
Minerva: You'd BETTER hope, boss... he's gonna want your head.
Mystery Guest: And arms.. and legs...
Ed: I know. Well.. in an earlier post, I bewailed my lack of being MST'ed.
That was before Zen took on the first chapter of 'Legion's Quest: Mi Vida
Loco'. <points at the Mystery Guest> So, while chatting with MG here, I
got an idea. I'd said that there were some great authors who'd never been
MST'ed, and people replied.. "THEIR FICS ARE TOO BLOODY BIG!!" <shakes
head> They didn't have to shout, actually... but MG and I decided to DO
IT! YES! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Minerva: <slaps Ed upside the head> Calm down, boss.
Mystery Guest: Hey! Wasn't *I* supposed to have the exclusive rights on
insane behavior?!
Ed: <cough, cough> Yes.. hmm.. sorry 'bout that. Anyway, MG and I (and
you'll find out _who_ MG is later) decided to go after the biggest game of
all. We're going to MST ... ***Bubblegum Zone 1***
Minerva: ...
Ed: So.. starting in January of 1998, the Mighty Skyknight will likely be
trying to fight his way into this bunker. Hopefully, the small army I've
assembled will, with the help of MG here, keep him out long enough to
finish the job. We'll be MST'ing short (30 Kbyts or less) sections to keep
the FFML from going into shock, and keep WhiteWolf from killing us.
Mystery Guest: And it'll allow us time to get to work on our OWN fics as
well.
Minerva: It's that death wish again, boss... wouldn't it be simpler just
to piss off the Sailor Slu.. I mean, Sailor Scouts?
Ed: Min, just because they wear those fuku's doesn't mean they're bimbos.
Mystery Guest: Thank god I never intend to write a SM fanfic..
Minerva: <humphs>
Ed, Minerva & Mystery Guest: So, look for it in January! Bubblegum Zone:
The MSTing! BYE!
Mystery Guest: Is this thing off? Good. Bert's gonna know EXACTLY who to
blame, you know, Ed. It won't take him long to put two and two together.
Mystery Guest: Hey! What's the mic still doing on?!

[Somewhere else in the galaxy...]
The nervous officer walked briskly along, his bootheels clicking hollowly
on the metal decking. He swallowed again as he approached the cloaked and
armoured figure standing in front of the large transparisteel viewport that
dominated the bridge. The unsuspecting blue, cloud-streaked sphere of the
Earth hung motionless in the centre of the viewing field, and the dark
figure's attention seemed to be fixated on it.
"You have something to report, Commander?" A deep, mechanically augmented
voice inquired as the officer came to a halt and saluted.
"Yes, sir," the commander replied. "We have pinpointed their location, and
the ..."
"You are absolutely certain?" the armoured figure demanded, turning
sharply towards the hapless officer, cloak billowing dramatically. Light
flashed from metallic silver and blue plating, and a strobing red eye
glared at the cringing man.
"As sure as we can be, given the circumstances," the officer faltered.
"GENOM Tower *is* heavily shielded, after all." There was a moment of silence.
"Very well," the mechanical voice said after a moment. "Give the Basestars
the command to begin the assault."
"And the culprits?"
"I want them alive....There is only one punishment suitable for their
transgression."
"You mean...?!"
"Yes....they will be forced to watch unceasing hours of nauseating Candice
Bergen Sprint commercials!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!"
The officer fled as the maniacal laughter boomed around the bridge of the
Imperial Super Star Destroyer.

"BY YOUR COMMAND," the resonant voice of the Cylon commander replied to
the image flickering on the wall viewing screen. The chrome-armoured
machine turned to several other of its kind standing at attention nearby.
"COMMENCE THE ATTACK. LAUNCH ALL RAIDER WINGS AND BRING THE BASESTARS INTO
ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT RANGE."
******
The silver-armoured figure watched the Cylon Basestars slowly descend into
the Earth's atmosphere, and chuckled evilly to himself.
"Well, Ed, I *did* warn you," SkyKnight mused out loud.

Okay, so I've got WAY too much time on my hands...but I had to do
*something* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! 8)
