[The Lurkerdrome. Three figures are moving in exaggerated blurs, as
repairs and remodeling are finished, new MST equipment installed,
crates of fanfic discs loaded, unloaded, and dumped into the
archives, Auto-Snak vending machines are installed, new costumes and
props are stored in the vault, and other general improvements are
made to the theater. Particularly interesting is the small booth in
the side of the theater, which has two pads resembling transporters
inside.]

[Finally, Lurker, Hikaru, and Chichiri plop exhaustedly into their
new, plush seats. Two empty seats in the front row have also been
refurbished, giving the Lurkerdrome a total of five exceptionally
comfortable-looking review chairs. Lurker's chair is the most plush,
and directly in the center. We now see that the three inhabitants of
the Lurkerdrome are wearing what appear to be purple Starfleet
uniforms. A large console rises out of the floor before them, and
all three begin checking panels and monitors.]

Lurker: Status report, Number One.

Hikaru: All systems operational. All stores fully stocked, prop vault
is tied in to the main holographic environment system.

Lurker: Engine status?

Chichiri: Reading full power no da. All engines standing by na no da.

Lurker: Release moorings.

[A loud *clank* reverberates through the Lurkerdrome.]

Hikaru: Moorings released.

Lurker: Thrusters at full.

Chichiri: Reading thrusters at full no da.

Lurker: Take us up.

[Cut to an external of the Lurkerdrome, the first time we actually
get to see what it looks like. It appears to be a dome-shaped purple
structure, with a small sphere on top, possibly serving as a
communications relay. Suddenly, the front of the sphere snaps open,
revealing a bizarre eyeball. Dust stirs and the ground shakes as the
Lurkerdrome begins rising into the air, revealing its true shape: a
large sphere, which was half-buried underground. The base of the
sphere is split into two glowing nacelles. The Lurkerdrome slowly
rises through the air, gaining speed as it climbs higher. Within
moments, it is in orbit of Earth.]

Lurker: <grinning> And so, our mission begins...

--Boldly going where no MST crew has gone before...
