Psychological mumbo jumbo aside, IT is a good story.
Besides after the Songfic "Death is Not The End", Sombody had to write
a follow up story.  This way, TBE Akane is now ready to get some help.

I think That A story Following TBE-Akane's Treatment would be
interesting to see.
