Yep, right after Cologne convinced Shampoo to give up her rights to Ranma.

	Major Nit: Last time I checked that particular law applied only to
Joketsuzoku _maidens_.  Even if you ignore the strictest sense of the word
(few matriarchies are _that_ hung up on pre-marital 'purity'), she
probably married some nice boy and had a few kids decades ago at least
which should make her immune from any penalty for loss to outlanders aside
from embarrassment. 

	OTOH, aside from well... asthetic consideration, why is Cologne
_such_ a bad catch as a bride?  I would not be suprised if she knew of
some Youth Formula to restore her former beauty with little cost aside
from the respect granted to a venerable elder.
