Uhhh.... no. In one story,  Ranma and Akane get married, and she  *stops*
hitting him. At least, she tones it way, way down to the level of the
horseplay between Ranma and Genma. In the other, Ranma and Akane get married,
and she starts hitting him more and more, and harder and harder, until she
finally cancels out the "healing factor" of Ranma's {for lack of a better
term} and starts doing some real damage.

No, not what happens _after_ the series, but what happens _during_.

The stories don't just continue the series in two different ways, they make
different statements about what the series was like all along.
