The recent thread on self-insertion has gotten me thinking of something...
could some characters in well-known manga be classified as self-insertion? I
am interested in hearing what people think.

1. MOKONA (Rayearth) - Has the same name as a member of CLAMP (Apapa
Mokona), and the members of CLAMP apparently occasionally draw themselves as
animals.

2. TSUKINO USAGI (Sailor Moon) - Naoko Takeuchi has said that Usagi's
personality is based on hers. Also, I heard that in Manga #18, Naoko
dedicated the story to "Kenji-papa, Ikuko-mama, and my baka little brother
Shingo" - the names of Usagi's family.
