No it didn't. Who appointed you God to decide what should and
shouldn't be written?
No one. Its an opinion. [looks up] A rather high volume opinion,
I'll grant it that, but a opinion nonetheless.
Then label it as such. By saying "we", you imply that you are stating
a fact that many people would support. In fact, it simply something
*you* think is true, and you could have stated it more politely.
Besides, I think ranma 1/2 and SM fics reached their saturation
point a long time ago.
This is a much better way to phrase your opinion. Especially the
words, "I think", which shows that it is your opinion only, and is not
necessarily shared by others. It's also much more polite. Bravo.

My personal opinion is that there are still fascinating avenues to
explore in Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon fanfics. With such large,
diverse casts and many directions a plot can reasonably go, I find a
certain joy in reading new, innovative stories. Where would we be if
Krista Perry decided to heed your words and stop writing "Hearts of
Ice", or Nick Leifker never decided to produce "Far and Away"? Should
we tell Chris Davies to give up on "Serena and Luna"? The fanfic
world would be lessened, I think.
So, my words to anyone still reading this thread: keep on writing
those Sailor Moon and Ranma fanfics. I, for one, will enjoy them.

was intended.
