whether or not he actually succeeds is debatable. He does not necessarily
have to go to Mt. Muldoon to see them; they could be in the countryside,
looking for new members to take the orders, dispensing wisdom, on
sabbatical, on tour even, whatever (just mentioning some possibilities). 

<snicker>  that "on tour" idea has such possibilities...  i can see Shayla
showing off for the crowds, Afura avoiding the attention and just trying
to find a place to read her books in peace, and Miz checking out every
eligible bachelor in sight...   but seriously, i think you should have
Hayashi meet the priestesses, if only in passing.  maybe he could have
some vision of their pasts or somehow him finding the long lost Earth
priestess.  then again, that opens a whole new can of worms, doesn't it?

	Also, what do you think their reactions would be to him? Like, dislike,
indifference?

i think he and Afura would get along quite well.  Shayla would be too
brash, and Miz would ignore him because he's not old enough to be her type.

	On a different note, it looks like my curse has struck again. First part
gets some C&C, and the only reason I know people saw the second part is
that I saw it on the list. Perhaps you missed it however, or you have not
had any time to look it over yet, or you just don't read El Hazard stuff,
I
don't know.

i read it!  liked it, too.  even though i haven't actually finished
reading it yet.  too much RL stuff going on lately... <sigh.>

and on a related note, did anyone actually read the second part of
"Jinnai's New Weapon" or did it just not deserve any C&C?  i released it
on Thanksgiving at midnight, and it showed up the next day.  maybe this
curse is catching...

	What I do know is that any comments would be appreciated, and if you need
this part and/or the previous one, just e-mail me. I'd be more than happy
to oblige you.
	Hey, if I don't get any C&C, I'll just assume you think it's absolutely
perfect (which I am positive it isn't. My hands are itching to write a
revision, but without your input, it becomes harder for me to decide what
to change).

when i finally finish reading it (tomorrow, probably) i'll write you with
some comments.
