Disney's complaining about people using their material?! Excuse me
<excessive laughter for several minutes>. Hello?! Has it ever >occurred to
anyone that most of those stories don't belong to Disney >in the first
place? James Barrie wrote Peter Pan, the Brother's >Grimm wrote Snow White
and Sleeping Beauty if I'm not mistaken, >Cinderella gets her origins in the
old German tale of Baba Yaga, >Pocahontas is an early American folklore
tale, Pinnochio by Carlo >Collodi. But the ads on TV always boldly announce
"Go See >Disney's Peter Pan" or other title.
Granted, if I'd have known the whole thing was about Disney, I wouldn't have
even worried.
About them copyrighting what isn't theirs...Do you honestly think that's
ever stopped them before?
