I've been reading some of the various story archives around, and
I've yet to
see a Tenchi/Sailor Moon crossover, so I'm in the process of sorting
out a few
of my own ideas, prior to attempting one. Unfortunately, while I am
fairly
familiar with both, a few details from both series escape me, and
they could
be nice to use.
Chris Davies' Together Again series is out there and pretty good at
meshing the two series. My works are also based around Sailor Moon and
Tenchi Muyou, although a bit loosely.
John Biles' Dance Of Shiva and Black Moon Rising come to mind as well.
1. In any of the Tenchi series, has the story between Yosho's
mother and the
Juraian Emperor been told? How/why they met, etc. etc. (Oops!!
Temporarily
forgot their names!!!
The story behind Emperor Azusa and the meeting of his two wives Funaho
and Misaki, is never told in any Tenchi Muyou! series. They make a
brief appearance in the OAV's and I think they also appear half way
through TV, although I haven't seen all of TV yet, so I wouldn't know.
In any case, I haven't seen too many stories that even go INTO Azusa
and his wives. I think I saw one that talked about them for a while,
but the only thing that particular author said was that they used to
fight like Ryouko and Aeka. Which I find highly likely for some
strange and unknown reason.
2. In the Sailor Moon series, the Silver Millennium, the height of
the Moon
Kingdom happened exactly how long before the present?
In the NA Dub they say a "Millennia" had passed since the time of
Serenity and the Silver Millennium. The REAL reference (i.e. The Orig.
Jap Version) doesn't quote a date, I don't believe. So you are free to
make up any date you like. Davies' says 13,000 takes us from the
beginning of the Silver Millennium to the end of Crystal Tokyo. Biles
says 25,000 years is only from end of Silver Millennium to Present day.
I believe way too happened for it to be only 1000 years, so I use
something close to 5000 for the gap between Silver Millennium and
Present
day.
