But was he *interesting* in that fic, you ask? I leave that for the
masses to decide... and after y'all have made up your minds, please let
*me* know, OK? :-)

	Was he interesting?  Definitely - as was the portrayal of Ranma
in it, too.  I missed one or two previous parts, so I wasn't too sure who
Kodachi's rival was, but I got the general drift.
	My only complaint, I guess, that's tied to this Gosunkugi
question, is I wonder why it was necessary to have Hikaru learn the
Happodaikarin(sp?) and invisibility techniques.  I dunno.  It worked, and
everything, and will probably come in important during the defence of the
Chinese village, but...
	Well, it removed Hikaru from being the only 'ordinary' person in
the group.  Everyone else is a martial artist of some caliber or another,
with various special abilities and whatnot; Gosunkugi, however, had
nothing -- and as such, could have provided a very unique perspective in
the things to come.
	But that's a minor gripe.  It was a very well done chapter --
probably my favorite of the ones I've read so far.  I question a bit his
motives in joining the expedition (it does seem to come a little bit out
of the blue, to me at least), but the last line makes it easy to ignore
(great ending line!).

	Looking forward to seeing future chapters -- especially the Ranma
one!  (Good think you're a quick writer -- well, quicker than me, at
least...)
