Konnichiwa!

Now that I have finished the Ranma 1/2 - Wizard of Oz story, I have
started thinking upon what my next story should be.  As a departure
from the last story's style, I was considering something a little more
serious.  I have considered studying the relationship between Ataru 
Lum, focusing on love and loss and the price of redemption.  Basically,
it's the old "you don't appreciate what you have until you lose it"
formula.  I just wondered if there was any interest in this kind of
story.  Responses actively encouraged.
