Interesting idea . . . 

NERV's security division would probably be given the case - remember they
were able to find Shinji within a day or two of his running away, around
episode 4. If one or more of the Children were *kidnapped* as opposed to
merely disappearing somewhere (as Shinji did), NERV Security would
probably have a harder time if the kidnappers were good at their job.

I don't know whether any of the Children know how to fight, but I imagine
all three of them would try to escape if at all possible.
