When I try to download a compressed file through hotmail I get a bunch
of scrambled ascii type characters, or some wierd font combinations
mixed with unintelligible text.

I dont know exactly what's going on, maybe hotmail is trying to
unmime a zipped file *shrug*.

Anyways the FAQ ask us not to use attached files on the FFML.
So, please, don't use Attached files on the FFML.
