Has anyone else found it odd that over the last few days, the list
has been innundated with hordes of file attachments?

To the folks who are doing this: how many times have the rest of us
asked you *not* to send attachments?

The FAQ, in fact, states that you should avoid sending attachments.

Please, people...stop sending attachments.

Um- for most browsers with their own email client (which is the most
populr medium) like Netscape or MIE mysteriously have a cap of the
amount of text you can put directly into the message body. Communicator
won't let me go past 32k so I have to decide- plain text? or multiple
posts?

Multiple posts get lost, generating requests for more missing parts.

Plain text tends to take longer to read unless its MIME- but are usually
easily accessed.

I choose the later when hitting over 32k.
