First I like to say I'm sorry about inadvertantly starting a flame battle.
I thought I just make a couple ideas that I have known and see what
constructive comments I'd get.

Time Lost:
The idea is that unusually harse upbringing of Pantyhose, without parents
and generally wandering Ryoga style (he can find his way, he just doesn't
have anyplace to go), is necessary for some climatic battle. Ranma and
Akane not only find out about the battle and the pivotal role that he
plays, but that they are his parents! A very pregnant Akane is sent back
Blade. Would. _KILL_! You. For. This.

This would be kind of neat, and it would explain why Tarou seems to be
Ranma's superior. (The son shall surpass the father.) A suggestion.
Why not have someone *besides* Akane be the mother?
The idea of the fic came from a picture drawn by Rumiko Takahashi of baby
Pantyhose and his mother. The picture looked A LOT like Akane, just
slightly aged (Even Blade noted the resemblance.)
Right of Possession:
Akane wakes up after a battle with Shampoo, a battle in which Ranma was
the prize. Akane won the battle, but is afraid of a video tape made of
Shampoo would kick her butt, even with chi attacks. But let's say for
the sake of argument Akane won.
The point of the Chi attacks is that niether of them have distance
attacks, which means that Akane's early hits using Chi attacks severly
hurt Shampoo before she could get into close melee (in that case Akane is
toast).
I get the feeling that you're an Akane Fan but frankly, You're
Nuts (even if a chi-blast alone could close the gap btween them, I
suspect 'Poo would get serious about training again if Akane started
catching up).
The Chi blasts allowed Akane to win, but doesn't mean she could win in a
rematch. If I make a sequel Shamps would train like hell.
Past meets Future.
Yuri, from Dirty Pair, is having a family reunion and decides to track her
family tree. She finds out that her partner, Kai, may be related to her.
The problem being the common ancestor they would share would have had to
given birth to their differing ancestors almost a century a part.
Searching for information on them is surprisingly difficult, and the
information they get gives at most a years worth of information per
decade. There was no way of telling if they were the same people. Yuri
could not get enough information to link them by the time they are sent on
a mission. During the mission they run into two people who not only were
using her ancestor's name, but looked the same as they did in a photo she
found of her ancestors. The names of her ancestors Ranma and Akane
Saotome.

Actually I fear Chris Davies will come after you for ripping him
off (check his family trees for Together Again if you don't believe me).
I've seen it. Though he had Akane die at about the age 90. Ranma, I
noticed didn't have a date of his death listed.
This would be ridiculously silly when Ranma and Akane work with the Dirty
Pair. Though this would explain why everything seem to be destroyed when
the Lovely Angles come to vist. The only problem is what kind of power
level do you think Akane would have being over 400 years-old, let alone
Ranma.
Let me put it this way, have you seen Dragonball?
Sounds about right, which is the problem.
The big nit here is this; while Akane is more than a match for a
typical Jock or twenty she is too... mundane for me to see her becoming an
Immortal Martial Arts Master (to her the Art is little more than a hobby).
The most likely Immortals among the Ranma cast aside from the Geezers from
what I've seen (barring a Highlander scenario) are Shampoo, Ranma, Ryoga,
and _maybe_ Mousse.
The means I considered Akane to be immortal is through all her magical
adventures with Ranma. Particularly her dip at Jusenkyo in Manga
volume 37.

In this fic, no because, Akane's been using P-Chan against Ranma since day
one.
Chapter 10: The Wedding

Just a note, the amount of time passed may have been a year since it
started. Not to mention that more intervining chapters may be put in.
Other event used for filler:
Nodoka refers to Nabiki/Kuno meeting as a date causing them to think about
there relationship. (Is it all business?)
Yes (do you _really_ think Nabiki has any respect or romantic
feelings for the dork?)
Actually I think there is something more between them.
So, as a wild, rampant guess, you're a supporter of the Akane-Ranma
match, right? One of the inherent problems with that match is, of
course, that it has been done to death, resurrected, danced around like
a zombie, killed in a splatter of gore, resurrected again, and then done
to death once more to make sure. If you're going to take on some of
these stories, you might want to be sure you put enough into them to
make them interesting. Because Ranma/ Akane confesing love, then Ranma
dumping Shamps/Ukyou is boring. Mind numbingly boring. To me, anyway,
and to a decent percentage of other readers.
One of the things I like about Ranma 1/2 is that even just having R&A to
admit their feeling can take an infinite amount of variations. One of the
things I like doing is trying to go about solving the various problems in
a different manner. The Insanity Continues is an example of this as most
series try to just wrap up the series and end with the marriage, however,
I decided to take the idea of having a series based on a married Ranma and
Akane while still in High School (pregnant no less).
Part of the reason for posting the list was to see if some of the ideas
had been done in that way.
I will always try to make things different and interesting.
