Okay, now that I've gotten your attention, a bit of an update from
me.
Don't expect any new fics, NGEjd or otherwise, before Winter
Break. I'm the type who needs to sit down for a good few hours (maybe with
some short breaks thrown in) to successfully write. I'm not able to spare
multiple-hour chunks of time at present, due to academic stresses (such as
debating whether or not to switch from engineering to philosophy--for
real) plus extracurricular activies, like putting on an a capella concert
in a few weeks with my group.
As for C&C's, I will still do them for EVA. They won't be MST's,
though, because I've looked over my own, then over ones from other people,
and decided that mine suck, comparatively. My imagination doesn't extend
to that sort of thing very well. And again, I'm still a bit pressed for
time, now, so I won't be able to do much in-depth critiquing.
I'll be gone for TG break, and I definitely have to unsubscribe
for that period. If, for whatever reason, you do want me to take a look at
your fic (particularly EVA, of course), then you'll have to mail me
directly. :)
Finally, about that car accident thing--as some of you already
know, I was in a 70 mph meeting with a guardrail on the Massachusetts
Turnpike last Friday. All I got is this silly-looking bump on my forehead
where I met the rearview mirror, and everyone else also managed to walk
away from the car. (No, the driver was not drunk or anything; we just hit
some crusty old snow and he lost control of the steering.) And now, among
the coolest things I've ever seen in my life is the sight of that
guardrail two feet or so in front of the fender before we crashed. Heh.
Ever wonder why I believe in God? ^_^
