Subject: WRT Info You Requested

First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on your recent marriage!
(From the photos that "our" Pluto showed me, you are an incredibly lucky
man! Of course, Lydia tells me that she thinks Hotaru is a lucky girl, but
I wouldn't know about that. :)

In any event, your request to know more about a number of crucial
figures in the history of "our" Crystal Tokyo came to my attention, and in
one of my more whimsical moods, I took a run through the databanks. Most of
this information is restricted to Palladins of the Realm, but since you're
stuck in a different ficton, I doubt that you can do much to subvert us,
try though you probably might. :)

I'm sad to say that I can't give you anything on Alistair McGovern,
as his files are apparently sealed to anyone but the Royal Family. That's
the problem with time travellers ...

Oh, and in regards to certain "remarks" ... no, I *don't* have
fantasies about my aunts or the Queen. I *do* occasionally have fantasies
about your wife, but that's another kettle of fish.

In any event, here are the first three files you requested. If
they're satisfactory, please let me know and I'll be sure to send the rest.

DeGales, Aethan

Full name: Aethan. (DeGales is a surname he adopted in 1991).
Occupation: Dilettante.
Identity: Secret, known to high government officials of Great Britain and
the United States.
Legal status: British subject with no criminal record, who had faked
citizenship papers for the United States and Canada.
Former aliases: The Gray, innumerable other identities.
Place of birth: Sussex, Great Britain.
Place of death: Sussex, Great Britain.
Place of final destruction: Nerima district, Megatokyo.
Marital status: Single.
Known relatives: Unnamed mother (deceased).
Group affiliation: Former member of the Order of Hermes, former leader of
the Shadows.
Base of operations: Mobile.
History:
Aethan was born in the year 527 to a female Welsh captive of a tribe
of Saxons living in what is now Sussex. His father's identity is unknown,
but he was probably either his mother's captor or one of his sons. His
mother died before his tenth winter, and he was treated as an almost-equal
by most of the tribe after that, becoming a hunter and studying folk
magic. In the summer of his sixteenth year, he was attacked by a female
vampyre who turned him into one as well, then abandoned him. (Various
accounts that Aethan discovered the identity of this mysterious individual
have proven to be false.) Aethan had no idea what he had become, and so
he remained in his village for another decade before it became clear that
he was not aging, and he elected to leave.
For the first five hundred years of his life, Aethan allowed his
vampyric nature to overwhelm him. He slaughtered indiscriminately, but
was always careful to avoid being captured. Eventually, he became an
assassin for hire, working for Edward the Confessor and Harold
Goodmundson. He was at the Battle of Hastings, where he fought and killed
a werewolf which had been brought by William the Conqueror, but was
wounded so severely that he was forced to hibernate for over a century
before he recovered.
Emerging in 1189, he found a different England, slightly more
civilized. It was harder for him to operate as he had before, so he began
to employ subtler methods of gaining blood. Later, when he joined the
medieval fraternity of sorcerors known as the Order of Hermes in an
effort to gain a greater understanding of his own nature, he began to
learn respect for certain "mortals", and the value of friendship. The
combination of the need for secrecy in his behavior and his increasing
appreciation of human comforts combined to make him more human.
Aethan first encountered Gilles de Rais during the reign of
Richard III, when the other vampyre was only beginning to use the name
"Lord Ruthven". He was repelled by Gilles' cruelty and vile acts, even as
he realized that he was guilty of ones which were no less despicable.
This also contributed to his gradual reformation.
Aethan met Vlad Tsepes, the Wallachian warlord known as Dracula,
shortly after his own rebirth as a vampyre, around 1490. (While Aethan
was unable to visit the continent by sail, he did so using magical gates
originally created by the Order of Hermes.) They developed a respect for
one another, and Aethan educated the younger vampyre in the use of some
of his abilities.
In 1666, while in London, Aethan created his first vampyric
companion, a young girl named Meg who was dying of the plague. She did
not take to the vampyric lifestyle as he did, and also possessed more
serious weaknesses than he. She ultimately attempted to commit suicide by
sleeping in the rays of the sun, an attempt which failed, leaving her in a
coma for over a century before a vampyre hunter took her life.
During the mid-nineteenth century, Aethan began to be drawn into
the affairs of the nascent vampyre culture of England. Despite his best
efforts, he found himself enmired in politics, both human and vampyric.
It was during towards the end of this period that he met and befriended
the young Winston Churchill.
On December 31, 1900, Aethan was first contacted by the
extraterrestrial being known as Madeline, who stated that she would be
assuming the role of his guardian angel, and presented him with his sword
in exchange for his promise to assist her in the future.
	<spoilers deleted>
The dawn of air transportation in the 1930s opened up the rest of
the world to Aethan, and he relocated to North America. In Mexico, he met
the young woman who became his second companion, Maria Ortega, better
known as Marisol. She proved more adaptable than Meg, although she left
him in the mid-1950s.
Aethan's contacts in both the mundane and supernatural realms were
put to extensive use during the second World War. He coordinated a number
of individuals in Europe and the North America in efforts against the Axis
powers, making contacts and allies as he did. He was a witness to the
poisoning of Franklin D. Roosevelt by <spoilers deleted>.
For nearly half a century after the war concluded, Aethan lived
the life of a dilettante, improving his skills with his sword and his
magic. In 1993, he journeyed to Japan in order to learn more about his
katana, and there met Minako Aino, alias Sailor Venus. After some
confusion involving the son of Vlad Tepes, Quincy Draculea, later known as
Vampire Hunter D, he began a casual, long-distance relationship with
Minako. She inspired him to try and make a difference in the world, and
he did so by organizing a small cabal of "monsters" and magic users to
act as a "supernatural police" in England, under the name of the Shadows.
A final conflict with Lord Ruthven in the early months of 1996 destroyed
this cabal, which may have contributed to Aethan's poor mental state when he
became involved in the final Gathering of the Palladins, during which he

In mid 2034, Aethan was called out of his meditations in the
Himalayas to supervise the magical training of Nene Romanova, the first of
a new kind of magic-user. During this training, he recovered the memories
and humanity that he had lost in the Gathering of the Palladins, just in
time to battle the last of the vimogorge demons that the Adversary had
brought to Earth in 1996. He was critically injured in an attempt to kill
the vimogorge, but Nene Romanova was the one to actually destroy the
creature by magically seizing control of an orbital laser satellite and
incinerating the demon's body, along with Aethan.
Aethan's spirit may or may not have visited Nene after his death,
to console her and offer her assurances that she was not to be blamed for
his destruction. The Sailor Senshi erected a statue in his memory in the
Crystal Palace Memorial Gardens.
Minako mourned him for the rest of her life.
Height: 177 cm.
Weight: 80 kg.
Eyes: Green.
Hair: Dark blond.
Known superhuman powers:
Aethan DeGales was a vampyre, a creature possessing many of the
attributes of the legendary creatures known as vampires. His strength,
speed, and resistance to injury were all superhuman, to degrees which were
highly variable depending on the circumstances. At peak capacity, having
consumed a large amount of blood and exerting himself, he was able to
lift(press) roughly 20 tons, move at speeds exceeding 100 kph, and ignore
non-explosive ordinance and most fires. This state could not be
maintained for an extended duration, however. He did not need to breathe,
consume regular food (although doing so caused him no difficulty) or
sleep. His aging was slowed by a factor of nearly two hundred (after
fourteen hundred years, he looked to be in his mid twenties). He could,
with a single thought, cause his canine teeth and fingernails to
enlongate, producing fangs and claws which he could use in battle, or to
create punctures in a victim's skin through which he could consume blood.
The blood of a vampyre, when consumed in minute quantities by
living humans, acts as a cosmetic anti-agathic. It does not slow down or
inhibit the againg process in any way, but reduced its affects on the
appearance. (Aethan was not above using this as a bargaining tool to
persuade vain mortals to give him their blood willingly). If Aethan fed a
minute quantity of his blood to one whose blood he had almost completely
drained, the victim would appear to die, but would arise within a few
hours as a vampyre, of lesser power than Aethan himself.
Aethan was also a skilled magic-user, trained in the disciplines
of the Order of Hermes, with some additional learning from druidical
sources and extensive self-teaching. By the end of his life he was
accorded the title "Archmage", although given that no other true mages
existed at that point, this may have been an empty consideration. His use
of magic was traditionally restrained, and he avoided the use of obvious
spellcasting whenever possible, preferring to use effects that he had
mastered and thus no longer needed to perform rituals in order to invoke,
such as astral projection and transforming his body to mist.
Limitations:
Aethan possessed a number of the traditional limitations of a
vampire as well. He was unable to approach a holy symbol held by one who
had a deep and sincere belief in the power represented by the symbol, and
would suffer injury if forced into contact with such. (Due to Aethan's
own faith in the Anglo-Saxon religion, contact with symbols of that
religion was always damaging.) He was uncomfortable in bright sunlight,
and suffered very intense sunburns. He cast no reflection in mirrors, and
did not appear in photographs or on videotape. Immersion in salt water
was as damaging to him as immersion in hydrochloric acid would have been
to a human being, and the smell of salt water caused him debilitating
nausea. A stake through the heart would incapacitate him, and he would
not be able to heal or move until the stake was removed. Fire was acutely
painful for him, and it is known that he could be destroyed by
incineration, as he eventually was.
His most crippling limitation, however, was his need to consume
human or animal blood regularly. The exact frequency of consumption was
highly variable -- if Aethan went for a prolonged period of extremely low
activity, such as he did when he was in suspended animation, he would feel
no need to feed. Extended periods of high activity, however, often
demanded that he consume blood equal to the normal volume of a human being
every night. Failure to obtain this blood would weaken and eventually
kill him, just as a human being would be weakened or killed by starvation.
For safety's sake, Aethan generally fed on the average of once a week. He
could be affected by foreign substances in his victim's blood, such as
drugs or alcohol.
Aethan was not obliged to sleep in his native earth, nor did he
have to obtain permission before entering any dwelling, nor did he become
comatose during the day.
Other abilities:
Aethan gained considerable training in kenjutsu under
circumstances which remain a mystery. He was an above average
hand-to-hand combatant otherwise, aside from his innate abilities.
Weapons:
During the twentieth century, Aethan's weapon of choice was a
specially made katana, enscribed with ogham runes by its maker. Aethan
used this sword in certain occult rituals, but it otherwise had no magical
properties. Considering its origins, however, it may well be that it
allowed Madeline, its apparent creator, the ability to monitor Aethan's
condition at all times.

Masefield, Kent

Full name: Kenneth Clarke Masefield.
Occupation: Commanding officer, Planetary Defense Forces.
Identity: His role as the commanding officer of the Planetary Defense
Forces and superhuman powers are not publicly known, but he does not
maintain a secret identity as such.
Legal status: Citizen of the United States with no criminal record.
Former aliases: None except for cover identities used on missions.
Place of birth: An unnamed town in Kansas.
Marital Status: Widowed.
Known relatives: James Clarke-Masefield, Jr. aka Clark Savage, Jr.
(father, deceased), Patricia Clarke-Masefield (mother, deceased), Sheila
Masefield (ne McCunmem) (wife, deceased), [spoilers deleted].
Group affiliation: Planetary Defense Forces.
Base of Operations: Area 51, Nevada.
History:
Kenneth Clarke Masefield was [spoilers deleted].
He was born July 1, 1946, at approximately the same time that a
nuclear weapon was detonated on Bikini Atoll, which was the cause of
[spoilers deleted]. His father, who was involved in the Planetary Defense
Forces since before their inception, used the same intensive training
regimen to train his son which his own father had used to train him, and
it became clear as Kent entered his early adolescence, that he exceeded
his father in most physical respects (though not in intellectual ones) and
was also gifted with unusual psychic talents. James Clarke-Masefield, Jr.
turned to a cousin of his, whose name his son bore, to train him in the
use of these. By his seventeenth birthday, it was clear that he had
exceeded his teacher in this field as well, and it was suggested that he
seek out the assistance of a Japanese psychic that had been an associate
of his teacher's before the war.
Kent travelled to Japan, and sought out Masamichi Kasuga, the
aforementioned psychic. He gained Kasuga's trust and respect, and learned
much from him, as well as from his daughter Akemi. His relationship with
the younger Kasuga was especially close, and it is possible that he might
have proposed to her had she not met the man she fell in love with,
Takeshi Kodai. Hurt by her gentle dismissal far more than he let on, he
returned to America not long after, and threw himself into his work as an
agent of the Planetary Defense Force.
By 1978, he was the highest ranking agent of the Force, and was
increasingly being pressured to take a desk job. Taking a training
sabbatical, he returned to Japan to study the "Anything Goes" style of
Kempo taught at the Tendou dojo, where he lived and trained for over a
year. [Spoilers deleted.] Returning to the PDF, he reluctantly accepted
the administrative role prepared for him. It was during this time that he
met and married actress Sheila McCunem, only to lose her to agents of his
enemy, the deranged psychic Dr. Michel Andro. He fell out of sight
following this, and only surfaced in 1991, not long after the death of the
previous Commanding Officer of the Planetary Defense Forces. Kent was
awarded the position, despite his brief desertion, after all senior
personnel of the Forces threatened to resign if he was passed over.
Kent's career as the CO of the PDF was probably the most active
phase of his life, with its height occuring in 1996, during the final
Gathering of the Palladins, during which he [spoilers deleted].
Height: 185 cm.
Weight: 100 kg.
Hair: Dark black.
Eyes: Gray with gold flecks.
Known superhuman powers:
Kent possessed superhuman strength and speed from a combination of
innate ability and training to tap chi. He could lift(press) 10 tons, and
his practical reaction time was at least ten times faster than that of a
normal human being. While he was no more resistant to injury than a
normal of his height and build, he was capable of startling feats of
self-healing and recovery, which may have been an expression of an
"immortality complex", as he aged very slowly.
Kent was also an accomplished telepath, whose exact limits of
range remain undefined. He could read the surface thoughts of most
non-telepaths without difficulty, and project complex multi-sensory
hallucinations into others minds. It is entirely possible that he could
dominate another's will completely. His own defenses against telepathic
intrusion were almost flawless. Whether or not he possessed other natural
psychic abilities such as psychokinesis or extrasensory perception is
uncertain.
	[Spoilers deleted.]
Other abilities:
Kent was a master martial artist, having trained since his early
childhood with a variety of experts. His personal style incorporated
elements of Capoeira, Muay Thai, and many other fighting arts, which when
combined with his natural advantages of superhuman strength, reflexes, and
agility, made him one of the premier fighters of his age. His one major
liability was a lack of direct chi-based techniques. Kent was also a
master detective and a genius tactician. While not a scientific polymath
like his father, he had earned advanced degrees in biochemistry and
physics.

Tenkai, Sheila

Full name: Sheila Ten'ou-Kaiou.
Occupation: Research historian, Palladin.
Identity: Publicly known.
Legal status: Citizen of the Crystal Realm of Earth with no criminal
record.
Former aliases: None known.
Place of birth: Tokyo, Japan.
Marital status: Single.
Known relatives: Erica Ten'ou (biological father, deceased), Michelle
Kaioh (biological mother, deceased), Hippolyta Kino (adoptive mother),
several unnamed step-brothers and step-sisters.
Group affiliation: Palladins of Crystal Tokyo, former member of the
Crystal Tokyo Resistance.
Base of operations: Crystal Tokyo, Honshu.
History:
Sheila Ten'ou-Kaioh is the current incarnation of the Solnoid
soldier Rabby, who lived c. 300,000 BCE. Her incarnation immediately
prior to her current one was as a small-time burglar named Misty Brown, an
associate of Rally Vincent, who died sometime prior to Sheila's birth.
Sheila is somewhat aware of her past lives.
Sheila was born on September 12, 2001, to Michelle Kaioh and Erica
Ten'ou, the Sailor Senshi known as Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus,
respectively. She had been concieved via artificial insemination of
Michelle by sperm provided by Erica's use of "Instant Nyannichuan" powder.
On the day of her birth [spoilers deleted.]
Sheila's parents were killed by the being known as Ourranos
following his murder of Serena Tsukino, Sailor Moon. She was taken in by
Hippolyta "Lita" Kino, Sailor Jupiter, who had chosen to retire from her
duties as a Sailor Senshi as a result of the Ourranos affair. Sheila was
thus raised in ignorance of her heritage, until she was sixteen years old.
At that point, Kunou Kodachi happened to see her and became irrationally
convinced that this was the "pig-tailed girl" whom she blamed for the bulk
of her misfortunes in life, and kidnapped her. Lita rescued her with the
aid of Raye Hino, Sailor Mars, and proceeded to beat Kodachi to death,
having finally succumbed to a nervous breakdown which had been building
since the death of Serena. Neo-Queen Serenity responded to this homicidal
act by removing Lita's powers. As Lita's psychological condition made her
an unstable parent, Sheila was removed from her care, and placed in
suspended animation to await the creation of Crystal Tokyo. Over the
eight centuries that followed, she was removed from suspended animation a
handful of times for a few months at a time. During one such interval,
she was reconciled with her stepmother, and met the rest of her "aunts".
She was removed from suspension in the first third of the
thirtieth century, and began her studies of history not long after. She
also volunteered to serve as one of Crystal Tokyo's Palladins, independant
law enforcement personnel (or superheroes, as popular fiction sometimes
calls them.) By 2937, she was earning her doctorate, with her thesis
being a study of the career of the Tenth Senshi (Sailor Chibi-Moon)
throughout history. (Due to concern over paradox, the true nature of
Sailor Chibi-Moon is one of the best kept secrets of the Sailor Senshi.)
It was at that point that she met and fell in love with Priss Asagiri.
Unfortunately, the relationship was doomed to fail due to the stubborness
of both women and a long-lasting grudge borne against Priss by Lita.
Within three decades, however, Sheila and Priss buried the hatchet, and
Sheila became the godmother and namesake of Priss and Sylia Stingray's
first daughter, Nene Sheila Asagiri-Stingray (also known as N.S., or Ennis),
who was concieved in a similar manner to Sheila herself.
Sheila found a new love in Misa von Fogler, a Major in the
Planetary Defense Forces, who tragically died during the Black Moon
Crisis. Following Misa's death, Sheila volunteered for a mission to
Nemesis itself, during which she was thrown back in time to the end of the
twentieth century. There she [spoiler deleted].
Sheila has continued her historical studies since returning to the
thirtieth century, and looks forward to celebrating her millenial birth
anniversary next year.
Height: 175 cm.
Weight: 95 kg.
Eyes: Brown.
Hair: Red.
Known superhuman powers:
Sheila possesses superhuman strength, endurance, resilience, and
speed. Her skin, muscle, and bone tissue are at the limits of human
efficiency. She can lift (press) 60 tons. Her powerful leg muscles
enable her to make a standing high jump of about 15 meters. Her skin
density, while insufficient to resist penetration by any calibre of
bullet, does provide her with substantial resistance to impact. She has
been timed at speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour. Her practical
reaction time is about three times faster than that of a normal human
being. Her physiology is so robust that she can exert herself at peak
levels for about two hours before accumulated fatigue potions force her to
reduce her activity or rest. She also ages extremely slowly, perhaps at a
rate of 1 year for every 120 years that pass.
The nature of Sheila's abilities is as yet unknown. Her physical
abilities are well beyond those possessed by either of her parents, but
they are apparently not magical or chi-based in nature.
Other Abilities:
Sheila has extensive training in hand to hand combat, focusing on
effective and safe use of her superhuman abilities. She has been
certified as an advanced student of Musabetsu Kakutou by Saotome Ranma,
but has expressed little interest in pursuing mastery of the martial arts.
She has experience in the use of most hand weapons, with a fondness for
two-handed swords, and is familiar with most of the firearms and portable
artillery used by the Crystal Realm's military.
She is also a trained historian, and is reknowned in certain
circles for her mastery of certain ero--[rest of entry deleted by Sheila's
