header: Ranma and Mouse.

This fanfic Idea isthe result of sleep deprevation and reading this

list.  The 

idea came partly from the recent thread on Ranma becoming pregnant,

and partly 

from a dream I had last night. The realy frightening part, is that

I am 

actualy concidering writing it.

Lurker: Are you also concidering learning to use a spellchecker?

The basic Idea, before I start on one of by long winded speaches

wich anyone I

to finaly 

anounce that he had made a decision on the matter of the fiances,

and inform 

evryone that he and Moouse had been had been engaged for about a

month, and 

had been secretly dating for several months before that.

Hikaru: I thought this was supposed to be about Ranma and Mouse?

Lurker: Looks like it just became Ranma and Moouse. 

Basicaly, what if as some authors have suggested, more than just

Ranma's body 

was changed when he fell in the spring at jusenkyo?  Perhaps his

mind was 

changed slightly as well, or at least began to change.Basicaly the

first time 

Kuno glomped onto him he might have noticed something, but no much.

 Besides, 

any one, male or female, has the same basic reaction to Kuno(i.e. 

hit him 

with the largest object avaliable.) When Ryoga showed up he would

still be 

adjusting to the idea.  He might have started having dreams or

something. Wich 

would have probobly caused him to start fighting more, or do other

things, to 

prove to himself that he is a man. It is possible that he could

have eventualy 

fallen in love with a man.  Wich technicaly might be exceptable,

sence he does 

spend much of his time as a female.

Hikaru: <yawns> Been there, read that...

Lurker: <also yawning> Read that, wrote that, got flamed off my ass
for writing that...

It could start basicaly with him actualy buying female clothing,

wich Kasume 

Lurker: Who in the name of Home For Infinite Losers is Kasume? 

Hikaru: <giggle>

might find ocasionaly while doing the wash.  At first she would

probably 

assume that the clothes were Akane's.  Some items of course would

on a 

concistant basis be to large or to small for Akane.  After all

Akane is 

conciderably larger than Ranma-chan, except that (and this is not

meant to be 

vulger.  I actualy plan to avoid a lemon with this one) except that

Ranmas 

braw size is larger.

Hikaru: What's a braw?

Lurker: I was wondering that myself.

Kasume is not dense.  She might not say a word, but she would

notice. Then 

again she might ask him/her about it, and Ranma might tell the

truth.  He has 

never been able to lie to Kasume.
He might even start wearing these clothes around the others while

in girl 

form.  A fact that would make Soun and Genma very nervouse, and

possible 

convince Akane that he is up to something.  
Why would he fall for Moose?  Why not.  Moose is quite possibly the

most sane, 

and most honorable male cast member.

Lurker: Okay, first it was Mouse, then it was Moouse. Now it's a
Moose. Do we seem to have a bestiality trend running here?

Kuno, is a letch.  He is not exactly ugly. From the oppinions

stated by the 

females in the story, he is quite handsome, but he is a letch, and

a bit of an 

air head.  From the onset, he would declare his love loudly and

promptly glomp 

onto his pig tailed princess.

Lurker: A *bit* of an airhead!?

Ryoga is mentaly unstable.  He is more sane possinly than Kunoe, or

maybe not. 

Lurker: Mind explaining who the hell some of these people are?
Kasume? Kunoe? 

Hikaru: <shrugs> I don't know either.

 He is a bitter angry person, when he can keep his concentration,

and he is 

prone to boughts of violence resulting in property damage rateing

in the tens 

of thousands, in dollars American.  And due to his bad direction

sence he is 

not around enough to develope a relationship with any one.  As for

honor, 

there is on little matter that can not under any circumstances be

overlooked.  

The matter of a certain little pig, that sleeps on a certain youg

ladies 

pillow.

Lurker: Uhhh...didn't we already get sick to death of a debate about
this on RAAF?

Hikaru: <shrugs> I dunno. You quit bothering with Usenet long before
I moved in.

Those are the only other male characters their age that are their

on a regular 

basis.

Lurker: Thank you *ever* so much for clearing that up for us.

As far as Moose goes.  Moose is an honorable person,and he is

strong, and he 

is loyal.  He is also fairly inteligent, and conciderate.  When

Shampoo is not 

involved he can also be civil towards the others.  He is also one

of the more 

handsom characters.  He also played a key role in Ranma's life for

the last 

several months of the series. Even if that role was slightly

negative.

Lurker: I ain't touchin' that one.

Who would they tell first.  Quite possibly it would be Kasumi,

because of 

reasons mentioned above, she would be the first to notice.  Also

she is 

discrete, and would not be inclined to tell every one.   Next would

quite 

likely be Dr. Tofu, or Cologn.  Why? Well for more practical and

personal 

reasons.  They would whant to know, possibly weather or not

children would be 

a possibility, and weather or not Ranma's supernatural body would

adjust to 

compensate for this.  I would of course most likly assume that he

would be 

'stuck' in girl for during the gestation and lactation periods. And

Cologn 

would have some text to back this up.  

Hikaru: UHHHHHH.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lurker: <slightly green> This is *quite* more than we needed to know,

Why would Cologn cooperate?  because this would achive he starting

goal, 

although not in the way wich she had planned.

Lurker: When did Cologne fall into one of the cursed springs?

By marrying Moose ranma would became an amazon woman.  this would

nullify 

Shampoo's claim on him as her husband, and it would nullify the

earlier kiss 

of death.  It would also bring Ranma's bloodline into the tribe,

and restore 

whatever honor she felt had been sullied.
It would also be feasable that Cologn might adopt Ranma, and make

her her 

heir.  What ever the case, Ranma will be going back to the amazon

village(help 

I forgot the name), because he most likely will not be able to stay

in Nerima 

after his announcement.

Lurker: Hmmm...

Hikaru: This sounds very familiar.

Lurker: It should. It's the driving force behind the plot of Onna:
Yellow Side. Only, that story doesn't involve Mousse...

The next person he will tell will probably be Akane.  She will

probably take 

it fairly hard, but will recover.

Lurker: <snort>

Of course I still havent figured out how he is going to tell Ukyo,

or shampoo. 

I am also not completly positive of how he is going to tell Akane,

or how he 

is going to handle her reaction.

I have decided that this won't be an actual alternat reality fic. 

The main 

part of it will take place towards the end of the anime, and might

diverger 

from there.  The anime and mange only covered what happened in the

fore front, 

it did not cover his feelings, and thoughts, or even what he did in

the time 

between episodes.  It is quite possible that he and moose may have

been dating 

before the failed weding attempt(I still have not seen that

episode), or that 

the weding was a last attempt to hold onto his identity as a man.

Who knows?  right now this is still in the rough concept fase.  I

would be 

gratefull for all the comments and suggestions you might want to

send.  

Lurker: All I can say is learn how to spell, or at least how to use a
spellchecker. As for the fic...good luck. From experience, I can tell
you that this kind of fic is *extremely* hard to do, because it jerks
with the flow of the Ranmaverse too much. It won't be easy, and
chances are it'll probably generate more negative response than
positive. I mean, *Mousse*!? That's *far* worse than pairing Ranma up
with Ryouga!
