Hi everyone! Thought I had given up, didya? Well, after weeks of
e-mail account troubles, and working on certain sences, I am pround to
present the revision to Neon Genesis Evangelion: Order and Chaos,
Chapter 1: Death and Rebirth. I've fixed a number of problems in this
version that were present in the previous one.
First off, Many of you will be no doubtably happy to know I totally
scrapped, as many of you who did C&C, the "god-like powers" part. After
serious consideration on that part of the story, I finally got an idea.
<Evil Grin> Yes, my charachter does have powers, but they aren't
god-like, and when this is all said and done, they will be... logical.
And it will make the story far more interesting. <Evil Grin>
I also changed some of the plot points that I think I didn't exactly get
across. All considering, I probably would have had to rewrite some
parts of the chapter even if I didn't want to get rid of the god-like
powers(which I do). I also rewrote some of the sences, and basically
tightened up the chapter a bit more. Though, I'll probably never have
it the way I really want it.
As for those of you who cried Deus Ex Machina, I'll let you know
something right now: Nearly everything that happens in this fic has a
reason. It just won't be apparent at first. Everything. *Especially*
why Q choose me to go into the NGE universe. And the reason if far
more... harsh... than what many of you are thinking it is.
Oh, as for those of you who think I'm turning this into Neon Exodus
Evangelion, I offer this small quote from J. Michael Straczynski:
"And there'll be the folks who'll say, "Oh, it's just X," just like they
did with B5 in the beginning, saying "Oh, it's just like DS9," which is
*perfect* because it lets me sneak up behind them and just WHACK 'em
upside the head when they're not looking, as with B5."
You have been warned.
Oh, and to set the record straight, I did *NOT* get the Heart of the
Storm from Twister's Event. In fact, I did not originally create the
Heart of the Storm. And I'm not gonna tell you were I got in from,
either. I'm gonna keep all of you in the dark about the plot as long as
possible. <Grin> Although, there is atleast on person on the EVA ML
that will probably know where it came from, I'm pretty sure.
<Mysterious Grin>
I think that's about it.
Anyway, standard copyrights stuff applys. C&C and such is more than
welcome, as well as questions on the plot, or just general "what the
heck is going on?" e-mails. I won't mind.
