I had a few ideas for a fanfic and I wanted to make sure no one else had
made these yet. If you have made something have done it or are in the

Actually similar or identical ideas can be taken in entirely
different directions so that is not always a problem so long as one does
not fall into the trap of various cliches.
Idea 1 - Ukyou and Akane getting....together.
I don't know about Ukyou and Akane, but some one is doing a fic about Akari
and Akane. It's called something like 'It's a Mad Mad World' or something
like that. Of course from what I've read of it, it just gets stranger from
there.
Actually I toyed with an interesting scenario during the mini-rash
of 'R&A Must Be Faking It' stories a while back. Basically, Shampoo and
Ukyo had been lovers since not long after the latter showed up. They
continue to hide their relationship and feign pursuit of Ranma for three
reasons: Ukyo's desire to make Genma's life as difficult as possible;
Shampoo's fears about what Mousse would do to Ukyo if he learned of this
(Ranma's more formidible and ultimately expendable); and thier mutual hope
that with enough outside rivals pressuring them Akane and Ranma would be
forced to admit thier feelings for each other openly, thus permitting
Shampoo to have the latter expelled from the Joketsuzoku village as an
adulterer and court Ukyo openly.
Needless to say, for this to be expanded beyond a short-fic, Ukyo
and Shampoo's luck would have to run out big time ^_-.
Oh yes, Wade did get Akane and 'Poo 'together' once (left it on an
evil cliffhanger too).
Idea 2 - Mousse and Ukyou. Going to a dance?
I guess it could work. One FanFic series I am reading appears to be trying
set him up with Nabiki. If that could work then why not Ukyou?
<nod> For that matter, why not have 'Poo try to _help_ them as it
would take a pest and a rival out of the picture with one fell swoop.
Idea 3 - Akane and Ukyou finally train (on their own of course) and
prove, once and for all, that they are better than Shampoo and Kodachi.
If they put their minds to it they could probably beet them.
Debatable, especially if 'Poo and Ko-chan get wind of the
challenge and start training themselves.
Heck, Kodachi is
as likely, if not more so, to poison an ally as she is an enemy.
I doubt she's that crazy _OR_ that stupid.
Idea 4 - Mousse has been holding back quite a bit all these years. Now,
he not only reveals that he's far better than everyone else (including
Ranma), but he also gives on Shampoo! This was a real nutter here,
folks.
Don't think this particular storyline has been done (although
Mousse outclassing and/or coldly dismissing 'Poo has been done to death
IMO).
Personally, I would be more amused if one of the female cast
(Kasumi, 'Poo, etc.) turned out to be the closet ubermench ^_^

Idea 5 - Aliens vs. Sailor Moon (They only have Star Power)
I don't think this would work out.
I concur, the Aliens are toast (one word, Mars).
Then again. Here's a frightening though. Alien in a Sailor Fuko.

Idea 6 - Gaijin goes to Japan (standard insertion). Except he get his
butt whooped for a good long time. Then, he finds something... gooey in
the river. Spiderman references.

However if one or more Ranma chars get ahold of an MU/DCU Object
Of Power(tm)....
<chortles evilly at the thought of Akane chasing Ranma around with
Mjolnir>
Idea 7 - Ranma gets kidnapped by a secret society that wants to use the
Nyannichuan as a new way to get people into delicate places. Men In
Black, Mulder and Skully come to the rescue.
The truth is out there. It's just unrecognisable that's all. The truth just
sorta took the trip to the springs in china............well it a long story,
very tragic.
