better the new way.

Well, you can. I can spell someone's name whatever way I want. I'd just
be wrong.

Just like people writing "Ukkyo" would be wrong. And spelling it "Ukkyou".
That's wrong, too. "Youku" would be wrong, too. (Just for the slow ones!)

Correct would be "Ukyou" or "Ukyo" or "Ukyoo" or "Ukyo^" (with the ^ on
top of the o) or "Ukyo-" (with the - on top of the o).

"Osaka" would be correct. "Oosaka" would be correct. BUT "Ousaka" would
be wrong.

"Shoujo" would be correct. "Shojo" would be correct. "Shoojo" would be
correct. "Shojyo" would be correct. "Shoujyo" would be correct. "Shoojyo"
would be correct. BUT "Shoujou" would be wrong.

You're allowed to spell something in whatever way you want - you only
have to consider if you want to look like an idiot or not. If you don't
want to look stupid, you spell something in one of the correct ways. ^_^

And anyone who tells you that one of the correct ways is wrong ... well,
THEY become the idiot, not you!

(*Grumbles about people telling her that 'specialise' is wrong and that
'colour' is wrong, etc, etc, etc...*)

NOTE TO WHITE WOLF: Who on Earth is Caroline? Why would I need to woory 
about her? I am an Emperor, after all.
