Well... since that _extremely_ bad SM/Doctor Doom crossover was
put up on the Romance archive (Chris panned it so badly that I became

the Senshi ever came into conflict with Victor von Doom.
My conclusion: they wouldn't.
Although their long term goals may conflict (_Doom_ wants to rule
the world ICYHN, and that would leave little room for Crystal Tokyo),
given his method of operation and the nature of the Senshi's usual foes...
if the two ran into each other at all this century it would probably be as
(somewhat reluctant) _allies_!
Somehow this scenario strikes me as a better story idea than the
typical 'Senshi fights new SuperVillian' cliche, anyone agree?

You know.. this raises an interesting possibility.. a world where
_two_ bastions of civilization survived in the SM universe.. Crystal
Tokyo, and Latveria. Knowing Doom, and his skills both in science and in
the mystic arts (remember, he spends a great deal of his free time trying
to find a way of retrieving his beloved mother from death, and restoring
her to life) he might be able to defend his castle and a small area around
it from the Accolytes of Silence.
Hmm.. and it gets MORE interesting...the possibility of the
Accolytes trying to bribe Doom, emotionally.
