It sounds like a neat idea, and I think you should go for it... but:

Why does everyone think that Ranma could take on even *one* Warder, let
along multiple Warders? Lan would smear Ranma into the pavement before you
could blink. Ranma's good, granted, but Lan's better. And the Aiel -
Ranma doesn't stand a chance. They form a ring around him and toss a few
spears at him, and he's gone.
It's a question of interpretation of skill. And since the WoT
story's have never involved combat with folk who can leap small bildings in
single bounds, shatter large bolders with casual effort, move their hands at
over 50 MPH, and all the other metahuman things the Ranma cast do so
casually, you have to interpret how they would do against them. Considering
Ranma's physical abilities to override any advantages Lan might have in
terms of pure skill isn't that hard an assumption.
Oh and the Aiel example isn't a very good one since their spears
will in no way be as fast as Ryouga's umbrella thrown in his first big
battle with Ranma, Ranma had no trouble snatching that out of the air, and
that was before his speed got dramatically enhanced by his training with
Cologne.

Oh yeah, and Mat hitting on Ranma-chan would be hilarious. <g>

I think you are all severely overestimating Ranma's power.
No i'd say the power estimates are dead on, but there might be some
underestimating how much fights could be influenced by experience.
