  Well, the bandannas and his titanium umbrella are his own devices...

	Those are old weapons that people used to use  a while ago.  And the
Umbrella is made of Bamboo covering some metal that's a lot heavier than
Titanium.  Besides their weapons that someone  taught him to use.  The
question
is whether or not Ryouga can take his knowlege of Chi and make an intuitive
jump to understanding a new and different way of using it.  Ranma has
shown he
can do that, however I don't remember any evidence of Ryouga being able to
learn anything new unless he gets shown how.

   Even a old dog.. make that pig... can learn new tricks.
