Wow...

Where's that prozac I bought?

Seriously... a well written fic that shows the inside of Gendou's head. 
The only problem is that it's not exact. We have Anno-baka to thank for 
that. 

I for one do not think that Gendou is the scum of the world, but he's 
pretty darn close to it. He is human and has both good and evil in him. 
If he didn't care a _THING_ about Shinji, he wouldn't have summoned him. 
>From the way you described him, he was only selfish evil or something 
like that. I could be wrong on that though. 

Gendou has a lot going against him in terms of likeability. One of his 
few redeeming qualities is that he keeps focus on his objective for the 
'good' of humanity, and even that I am not so sure about it. 

One cannot force (spiritual) evolution, and it's clear that these people 
(gendou and SEELE) were doing that. 

It(Peace) cannot be given it must be acheived. It has to come from 
inside.

Only LONG time fans of MST know what it is. Either way, these people are 
trying to force something that time and personal perserverence should be 
able to take care of. They're playing god when they're not supposed to.
