Been reading via Yoo C. Chung's excellent archive some
"gripes" about Zippo now User Names and Passwords for
those who follow raac.

The nice thing about is that you do not need USENET access
(like me since ny NNTP server is crap anyways) or web
access just email.

You could subscribe to the raac echo ML.

Send an email to listproc@solaris.cc.vt.edu with the following
in the body of the message as well as the Subject header

SUBSCRIBE ANIME-CREATIVE DIGEST YOURNAME@DOMAIN.WHATEVER FIRSTNAME LASTNAME

You will be sent the usual admin replies, just follow the instructions
in the admin business and your in business.

Queries can be sent to jarrell@vtserf.cc.vt.edu

You will get a digest containing from 1 to (usually) 5 posts to raac.
Some digests can get quite big depending on the size of the
individual posts echoed.

It is a little slower Zippo and just about as fast as Deja News.

Since raac allows binary posts (UUENCODED only) you can get pics as well.
For those with PCs just cut and paste the UUENCODED portion, starting from
the begin line to the end line into a text file with .UUE extension and
extract with Winzip or your preferred program.
