Final Fantasy 7 - Revelations

Part 1: Aftermath

I have a few things to say about this.

1.) (The General Comment) This is a great example of how there are many
elements of Final Fantasy 7 that can be expanded into great fics. There
is so much character development and excess storyline that you can't help
but think of things like this, like how Shera REALLY thought about Cid and
vice versa. I would totally approve of more fics dealing with FF7.
However...

2.) (The Genre Comment) There is one opinion of my own that you are of
total ability to reject and not give a second thought. I would lean away
from writing about the aftermath, or at least, details about the
aftermath. Its my opinion that the planet was saved from Meteor and Holy
by Aerith and the lifestream, and the reason why Midgar is ravaged by
plantlife 500 years later is that there wasn't anyone left to rebuild it.
*I*, as in my own and not necessarily anyone else, believe that the
lifestream consumed all the human life from the planet in its attempt to
stop Meteor. That's why Red XIII was in the ending sequence and all the
birds and other animal life were shown but no humans.
My exception? Human existence returns much later than 500 years. Which
is why you hear the laughs of children after the credits.

Like I said, it's only MY opinion.

3.) (The Specific Comment) I love the way you've captured the
personalities of the characters in this first part. Cid and Shera are
excellently portrayed and interact almost exactly as they would in the
actual game. Please, despite the horrendous comment above, continue with
this series!!
