Subject: [FFML] [FFML][SPAM] A fanfic writers editor instinct

  I've notice something rather,.... interesting, since I started
writing my own stories. It's almost imposible to completely shut up the
editor in me. I'll be reading something and I'll thing, "that isn't
worded right," or "he used the same phrase in the same paragraph, how
about changing it to this," and so on.

  No matter what I do I can't shut it up. How many other writers out
there suffer from the same malady?

Guilty.  In fact, I frequently read fics in ``Reply'' mode, just so that 
I can edit as I go through.  Since, nine times out of ten, it winds up 
with just grammar/punctuation/style stuff (as opposed to 
characterization or continuity), I usually just send it straight to the 
author, not the list.  It actually got me an offer to pre-read on Swords 
& Sorcery, so there is some payback.
