PM Productions Presents
A Phillip Masters Spamfic
Unfair

     Life can be so unfair.
     She was so perfect.
     She was so magical.
Something that most thought could never actually happen, did.
Saotome Ranma fell in love. Well, more like toppled. He
discovered her completely by accident. She was in a dream.
Everything about her set his soul aflame. Every time she talked,
his heart would beat faster. Every time she moved, he could see all the
colors of the rainbow spread in her wake.
She knew martial arts, every bit as well as he did. However, she
had a complication that made her unable to reach his skill level. Yet,
that was okay... he didn't care. As long as he could be with her,
nothing else mattered. He never wanted to let her go.
Unfortunately, every morning when he woke up, she would leave him
again. It was very frustrating. To be able to hold her close, then
have her ripped away by harsh reality.
Perhaps it wasn't meant to be? Perhaps he should just give up on
her, let her go. He was stringing her along just as much as she was
him. One of them had to undo the knot, or they would be forever
trapped. Not a particularly miserable existance, just a very unlikely
one. A very unrealistic one.
Which brings it all back to the same problem.
She is real and Ranma is manga character. She is flesh and blood,
and he is ink and paper. It makes him weep in the early hours, when he
reflects on his own existance, and the fact that she can never be in it.
     Life can be so unfair.
-------------------------------------
Mizumi looked up from the manga. She had gotten interested in her
brother's Ranma stories a few weeks ago. She had gotten snared in the
Takahashi Trap as well as all those millions before her.
However, she felt she was different somehow. That, somehow, there
was more to the story then just a story. That, deep inside the pages,
he waited for her.
     Ranma.
     Her perfect man.
She felt silly pining over an animated figure. Yet, she couldn't
deny the feelings she felt for him.
Only at night, when sleep came to steal her from the pain of
reality, could she truly be with him. In her mind they were together,
and they would always be.
Yet, there would always be that distinction. He was a manga
character, and she was real. Nothing could change that fact.
She layed down the manga, and stood. She inhaled deeply and began
to do a complex kata. Something to clear her mind.
A world away, a young pig-tailed man did the same, seeking similar
peace.
Two souls, inexplicably linked, forever to be apart.
     Life can be so unfair.

Don't ask. I was bored and had some time to kill. But, feel free to
comment away, and thanks for reading...
