I'm new to this list, and I'd just thought I'd post a fan fic my brother and
I have been working on... I'll post the chapters as we write them. This is in
the Japanese universe, so if you watch the DIC version, don't read this

Shin Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon

Prolgue: Old Beginings

Note: This fanfic takes place in Crystal  Tokyo, the domain of Neo Queen
 Serenity and King Endymion.  This means, that Chibi Usa is a teen and
 whenever somoene says 'Usagi', they are talking to her.  This may be
 confusing so I hope you get it.

	Usagi Tsukino, princess of the world, sat
 thinking in her room.  Her mother, Neo Queen Serenity of
 Crystal Tokyo, told her that the new Sailor Senshi had to be
 awakened.  She had given Usagi a box of eight crystal stars meant
 to be given to the new senshi, the Sailor Star Senshi.  Usagi,
 as a test to see if she was fit to be the future ruler,
 had to hand pick the new senshi using her own judgement.
  Usagi was little worried about this.  What if she picked
 the wrong people?  

     The first people that came to her mind were her best
 friends, Midori Frasier and Akane Ito.  Midori, a Japanese-American
 living with her mother and stepfather in Tokyo, was one
 of the top students at their school.  She was captain of th chess club,
 computer club, and science club.  She was also on the basketball
 team.  In short, Midori was highly intelligent and physicaly
 fit, making her a perfect candiadate for a Sailor Senshi.
       Akane was much different from Midori.  She was tomboyish, hotheaded,
 and loud.  She had great physical strength and was relativly bright.
  When she thought about it, Akane was a lot like Makoto, the
 previous Sailor Jupiter.  
	Usagi's thoughts were interupted by a
 knock on the door.  "Usagi, are you in there?" a gentle voice
 asked.  "Yeah, Midori, come in."  The door opened, and two girls
 walked in.  The first was tall and had long green hair(think
 Misato from Evangelion with green hair).  Her brown eyes were
 looking intently at Usagi.  The other girl was about an inch shorter.
 She had short red hair(her hair is like Ritsuko's from Evangelion
 only with red hair) and violet eyes.  "So," the
 red haired girl said as she sat down on Usagi's bed.  "What did
 you want to talk to us about?"  
	Usagi cleared her thoat.
  "Well, Akane, its like this..."  Usagi reached under her bed and
 pulled out a small wooden box.  She opened it and revealed nine crystals
 shaped as stars.  Midori gasped.  "They're beutiful!  Where do you get
 those?"  
"My mother gave them to me..each of you take one.  Midori
 nodded and sat on the bed next to Akane, examining the crystals.
  Her eyes came accross a green one.  She touched it, and it felt warm,
 almost as if the was life eminating from it.  "I choose this one" she
 said, picking up the crystal.  "This one's mine," Akane said as she
 picked up a red jewel.  Usagi smiled and thought, this is gonna work
 out just fine.
