Anime Leap: The Adventure Begins Chapter 1: Welcome to The Bibat Zone Presented by Bibat Productions 11:00 PM: Sector 2344: Bibat Residence: Bibatverse Aerol C. Bibat was typing away at his computer. ' Damn friggin' project ' Bibat was muttering as his hands moved in subsonic speeds across his keyboard. ' Ha ! Finally, finished this.' Bibat shouted in triumph as he tapped the final letters of his report, shooting out of his chair in a somersault [okay, I exaggerate :) ]. After a round of dancing and running around like a headless chicken, he returned to his seat. ' Now to relax ' he said as he hooked up his modem and got ready to surf the Net, while muffling the dialing sound of the phone with 5 pillows and a blanket. 'Hehehe, Another night of staying up late' snickered the bespectacled 16 year old as he eased into his comfortable seat. He cracked his knuckles before he started to type in the password. No time: Sector Unknown: No Place: Everywhere A man in a neat little business suit is in a center of the room. He seems to be look into a place far away. Everything has two colors, black and white. Then we here it. 'Te ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne' Then we here the man speak. ' There is a fifth dimension' the man started in his peculiar halting voice. ' A dimension which we do not know. It is the middleground between light and shadow, of science and superstition. It is a place between pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. It is the dimension of the imagination. It is simply called the Twilight Zone.' At the end of the man's [ Whom from this part forward we shall simply call as Rod :)] soliloquy we hear the weird music again in Stereo Sound TM ' TE NE NE NE NE NE NE NE NE ' ' Let me present before you Aerol C. Bibat, an ordinary student and certified nutcase.' With a flourish Rod points to a nearby wall where we see Aerol C. Bibat cackling madly over his keyboard. 'He is now currently hooked up in the Net. Unsuspecting of the events that are soon to follow. For Aerol C. Bibat is about to take a trip. A trip of terrifying proportions. A trip that would shatter his belief in reality. He is about to take a trip into the TWILIGHT ZONE tm ' Rod arched his eyebrow upward and a shadow of a smile appeared on his lips. ' This ought to be fun. ' Everything turned black. 11:20 PM : Sector 2344: Bibat Residence: Bibatverse As Aerol was enjoying surfing in the Net, he did not notice the AVR registering increasing energy surges. He also didn't notice energy crackling around him. That's what happens if you drink 1.5 liters of Coke and coffee before it reaches midnight. He finally noticed it when the blue energy touched his skin. ' WHAT THE ...' Before he could finish azure fire completely enveloped him and he blinked out of reality. On his computer screen two words in large font appeared. BYE BYE. Then the system turned itself off. 7:00 AM: Sector 2345: Nerima: Ranmaverse It was another normal day at Nerima. ' Ranma no BAKA' WHAM Well, as normal as Nerima could be. Akane had again been cooking at the Tendo household and as usual Ranma put his foot into his mouth. As per the routine , Ranma became an object in projectile motion flying up the air reaching a mile before he landed with an audible thud. While everyone else was busy looking up at Ranma's rise and fall though the Nerima skyline they didn't notice the flash of blue light and the figure that suddenly materialized 50 feet off the ground. The figure looked down momentarily before gravity began to assert itself. ' MMMMMOOOOOOOMMMMMMMIIIIIIIEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!' The citizens of Nerima calmly ignored the scream since it usually meant another local martial artist was about to feel an enormous amount of pain, which is quite a frequent event. The figure of a gangly sixteen year old in glasses fell fifty feet before he felt the welcoming ground smash his face flat as a pancake. The figure that was currently plastered to the ground of the Furinkan High football field was twitching quite a bit as it slowly got up and rearranged itself into something resembling a human. ' WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED ! ' The figure shouted as he cleaned his glasses with the coat he was wearing. The figure remarkably looked like Hikaru Gosunkugi with glasses. He was wearing a long black coat that covered a nice looking suit. ' HEY ! Where the heck did I get the cool threads!?!' marvelled the Gos look-alike as he looked at his clothes. ' And why the heck am I still alive ! Not that I'm complaining but falling feet usually squashes people flat ' wondered the figure loudly. He felt his body for damage but he had received only a few scratches and a bruise from the fall. { This must be a dream. } thought the boy as he trudged towards the entrance of the school. { Hey ! I recognize this place. Aint this ....} the boy was thinking as he looked towards the sign in japanese. ' FURINKAN HIGH !!!' the boy shouted in surprise { Wha .. That thing's in japanese and I could understand it ! How the hell did I know it was japanese anyway ? I must be hanging around Reyes a LOT !} was thinking while he saw his reflection from a nearby puddle . ' I know that's me but why the heck do I look like Gosunkugi !!!' the boy also noticed that his flesh tone was significantly lighter. ' Yup, this is a dream,' the boy figured as he trudged away from Furinkan High. 'Must be reading too many fanfics for my own good.' { If this was a dream how come I got hurt. I don't usually hurt myself in dreams} the boy was thinking while he walked in the general direction of south. He walked up to a man and a boy that looked about his age with a bandanna and umbrella as he mulled a thought over. { That boy looks familiar } he thought to himself as he approached. ' Sir , where's the Tendo Dojo ? ' asked the yellow shirted backpack carrying boy as he walked by. The boy stopped in his tracks. { No , it can't be}. Bandanna boy thanked the man after he pointed the direction and as he turned fangs were obviously seen in his smile as he promptly walked towards the opposite direction. The boy in the coat stopped him holding him by the shoulder and told him. " The man pointed that way.', pointing the direction to emphasize his point. ' Uh .. thanks.' Bandanna boy said as he reversed his direction and walked towards his destination. The boy in black promptly followed walking beside him. ************************************** Ryouga looked suspiciously at his new travelling companion. He was a boy about his age , looking a lot like Gosunkugi only this fellow had glasses. He also noticed that the boy was dressed in a knee length black coat that had a black suit underneath. The boy noticed that Ryouga was looking and looked at him too, smiling. ' What the heck do you think you're doing following me !?! ' growled Ryouga. { As if following Ryouga Hibiki would get me anywhere} thought the boy as answered ' Following you ? I'm not following you. I'm going to the same place you are.' ' The Tendo dojo ? You're going to the Tendo Dojo ? Let me guess you're a martial artist and you're going to challenge Ranma Saotome. If that's the case you better wait in line since I'm going to beat him up first.' ' Me challenge a martial artist ? With this body ,' the boy pointyed at himself ' I'd be commiting suicide.' ' Then why are you going to the Tendo Dojo ?' ' To check on something. By the way I haven't introduced myself yet. The name's Aerol. Aerol Bibat. Pretty strange name huh ?' Aerol said putting out his hand, smiling. ' I've heard stranger one's. My name's Ryouga. Ryouga Hibiki. ' Ryouga hesitated a moment before shaking the smiling boy's hand. They walked down the road toward their destination. End Chapter 1
