As far as I know the groups not moderated. What gets archived may be, but as
Incorrect. The raac newsgroup is most certainly moderated.

far as I know about the NG itself, postings should go up about 5 to 15 minutes
after posting them. You may whant to check with your ISP.

Of course as usual it is possible that I may be wrong, if so someone please
let me know
What happens is--if this is the first time you post to the NG from
a particular email address, it goes into a queue, and eventually is
assigned to a moderator. From then on, that moderator will handle all
stories posted from that address, and any further postings will be
immediately forwarded to that moderator, to be posted later on. You can
request to have you moderator changed, if you give a good reason; also, if
the moderator has to leave his or her job for whatever case, then I
believe your address is then assigned to another moderator.
So, how long it takes to get up in raac depends on your moderator.
If he or she is particularly busy, then it'll take a while. Now, Chris, I
don't know why some of your stories are taking more than 10 days to get
put up, while another one is up overnight...it doesn't make much sense to
me, either. You'll have to ask your moderator--just post to raac from your
email address with whatever question you wish to ask your moderator, and
it'll get to the right person.
