I said plenty of useful things about the story. Simply because the
review was negative doesn't disqualify it.

No. I don't mind negative reviews. I don't mind people saying they
have problems with the story. But it was tone - sarcastic and bitter -
that was uncalled for, and that John was criticizing.

Please, tell me when things don't work. Please, let me know when you
think my story can be improved. Truly, I *always* want to receive that
kind of feedback. But please, don't do it in such a way as to
antagonize the author - that is never called for, in my opinion.

:Also, learning to snip unneeded text instead of quoting the entire
:story helps.

I had enough comments, and they were spread through the story well
enough, that I didn't feel the need to trim the text any. This is
a judgement call, and your sniping at me about it is petty.

Not really. It's basic "netiquette". Cut all of the unnecessary text,
and leave behind only that which is relevant to your comments. Again,
John was justified in pointing this out.

:I'd say you flop on both counts.

I'd say you need to BACK OFF, man. I posted a negative review, and
you're trying to shut me up because you don't agree with it.

Again, it's not what you said, but how you said it.

You're way out of line.

We should perhaps take this off-line before it gets personal. Any
further replies I make will not include the FFML.
