I was just watching a anime when a thought suddenly occurred to me.
When lands are in danger, why are inexperienced juvenile girls chosen as
champions instead of battle experienced soldiers? It also seems that
for every invasion in an anime they opposing forces always target Japan.
Of course these are Japanese Animation, so I guess I shouldn't be
surprised. Here's the real reason why.
C+C welcome always

Somewhere in a dimension that lies close to this one. An evil
force looks hungrily upon the human race. *The pitiful humans, how they
cow before minor examples of other dark powers.* It watched as other
dimensions tried their best to conquer this tiny little world.
Seemingly dozens of different dimensions trying for this little slice of
that universe. What seemed strange that they concentrated their power
and efforts on one single area of the planet. From earlier scouting
missions they had learned that the humans call that place Tokyo, Japan.
True that it seems that a large source of spiritual power is
concentrated in that area. That could be the reason for this large
group effort. Of course these different powers never figured what would
happen if one of their rivals were to succeed, then they would have to
battle someone who has already defeated the champions of the world. If
they then defeat their rival then they themselves would have to face
challengers to their rule. Such foolishness. Why waste all that energy
in one single spot when there is a whole world right there for the
taking. Is it not better to take a number of smaller pieces of the
battle field when others are concentrating their efforts elsewhere? That
way when the rest of the globe is theirs they can use the resources that
they gained from the other countries to feed the campaign against Japan
and the other invaders.
*Where to start?* One of the major difficulties to taking Japan
lie in so many ultra- powerful defenders. So the key to taking the
other lands lie in finding those without said protectors. While being
one of the economic leaders of the day, Japan falls greatly behind some
of the others lands in terms of warfare. None of the other's lands
would dare attack Japan, for the fear of the repercussions that would
follow, from their main major ally, the United States. The United
States, it did not have those supernatural powerful protectors that
Japan did.
If they could take out these so-called United States the rest of
the world would be seized with chaos, as positions of power long
established would no longer keep hold, without the intervention of the
States. Larger nations would swallow the smaller ones. Anarchy and
destruction would reign supreme allowing the outside powers from other
dimensions to easily crush them without any resistance. While not
possessing the spiritual energy of the East, still the US and their
neighboring lands, combined with all of the Western Hemisphere could be
taken a lot easier than Asia would. They wouldn't posses the magical or
spiritual no how to defend again a large scale offensive.
*The humans would never know what hit them.* "Prepare shock
troops to attack key locations." The supreme commander of the alien
dimension. His subordinates quickly relayed their leaders orders to the
Captains of each divisions. Three key spots were be targeted before the
mass invasion could commence.
South-Central Los Angles, California
On a lone building in said city. A glowing portal appears
allowing a unit of Zenkeep shock troopers enter our world. They quickly
take measures to secure the building waiting for the larger warriors to
make their entrances.
New York City, New York
In the middle of the Town Square, another such portal appears.
Ruby-Quartz Warrior- women quickly blend in with the surrounding alleys.
They then set off to find victims with whom to terrorize.
San Francisco, California
Zinc-Cobalt Keepers, let loose their hounds to seize control of
the Golden Gate city. The demon-hounds howling into the night as the
began looking for blood.
The key forces to the take over of the United States were in
position. Nothing could stop them now. Or was there?
South-Central
The two Corrian Giants stepped forth from the portal onto the
roof top. They survey their surroundings.
Giant #1, "Go. Begin the puri- huh?" He was cut off as the
roof beneath their feet suddenly started to strain from the combined
weight of the giants and the shock troops. With that the floor gave way
underneath them.
Giant #1, "Argg!"
Giant #2, "Aahh!"
The shock troopers being trained as they were did not make a
sound. As they crashed through three floors of the building.
"What the?"
" Hey!"
"Its a Raid!!" That last remark set off everyone in the
building, what followed sounded like a cross between a small war and
Sci-Fi movie. As submachine guns and a number of other illegal weapons
were made use by the drug dealers who owned the building upon which the
assault started.
Energy swords and staffs of power quickly lost their power. The
two giants seemed smaller than when they first appeared, now only eight
feet tall instead of their normal twelve. Magical scanners quickly when
off line. What the assault team were left with were short-swords and
their combat skills. That alone would have been enough if not for
supernatural skills were severely lacking. So much so, that they were
met up with steel-jacketed bullets, that easily pierced their armor.
New York City
The warrior woman counted themselves lucky to find this large
group of humans, seemingly in celebration over some trivial human
custom. They grinned feral grins as the knew their prey's cries of joy
would soon changed to cries of terror. They then began to power-up
their magical attacks.
The partying crowd suddenly noticed the scantily clad warrior
women stepping into view. They watched as they seemed to be raising
their arms into the air and yelling something. Then to their surprise
fireworks sprang seemingly from their fingertips. The crowd was
overjoyed, there were always room for more street performers during a
block party of this magnitude. With a crow of joy the crowd of drunks
and merry makers soon overtook the bewildered warrior women who were
still reeling in shock from their failure to produce results. Alcohol
was quickly thrust upon them. With it being the first time the group
ever experienced such beverages before, combined with their alien
metabolism quickly effected them and they made leave of their senses and
joined with the merry makers.
San Francisco
As the demon hounds sped down the street, their fire seemed to
dim considerably until to most people they seemed to be normal dogs.
They continued their attack, only slightly confused as they wandered
into the Korean district. Mental screams racked the Zinc-Cobalt keepers
mind. For they are linked to their charges. They never saw their
hounds again, while many Korean families were well feed for many a day.
"What has happened to our forces?" raged the Supreme Commander
of the dimension as he blasted one of his orderlies. *how could they be
repulsed, when the humans didn't even know they were coming?*
"Sir." one of his subordinates stepped forward. "From our scans
of the areas that we sent our legions into, it would seem that this
land, unlike Japan has such a low spiritual and mystical power level
that it actually absorbs any new form of magic that it encounters. Not
only that but the population of this land are so dulled by their
existence that anything that acts against their established beliefs are
simply disbelieved, disrupting the flow of mana. These Americans, unlike
the Japanese, are a close minded lot. The few that are opened minded
are quickly drained by the larger population mass. While slowly at
first, as they are exposed to the criticism of other their mind set is
changed to match the rest of the society."
"Is there anyway we can counteract this sponging of will and
mana?" The Supreme Commander replied.
"Yes Sir. But secretly importing documents that were made in
Japan. The Americans will soon begin to let their imaginations flow.
Thus dampening the sponging factor and eventually actually producing
more spiritual energy and mana."
"Which documents are these?" The Commanders interest grew at
this unknown way to generate power.
"Documents that are commonly known as Manga. These in turn are
made into videos called Anime. After a large enough following is found
then various factions within the US will start writing individual
stories based on these videos, these are commonly known as fanfics.
When a large enough concentration of these fanfics are created causing
many more helpless humans to be addicted to the following of certain
story lines with hundreds trying their hand at the art. Given enough
time these actions will result in the specified result."
"Excellent. I believe we can afford to be patient, until the
plan bares fruit. Begin the process." the Commander commanded, *Yesss,
soon, very soon the western hemisphere will be ours.* With that the
Supreme Commander let loose an evil laugh. "HaHaHaHaHaHaHaa!"
