A Feeling

Staring at the star lit sky/
Every night, reflecting/
Wondering constantly why/
Our lives are intersecting//

Time is an ever closing noose/
I stumble through unknowing /
I struggle silently to get loose/
My empty tears are flowing//

Someday, I guess not where/
My dreams will be revealed/
To me and those who care/
The pain of love repealed//

At that moment we will be one/
Ourselves contained in just a feeling/
Energies will become undone/
The Universal music is appealing//

Until that time I continue to gaze/
Understanding, I do not try/
One day I shall peer through the haze/
To see beyond the star lit sky//
