people to go around for Ranma's 3 fiancees normally. I don't really like
Mousse. With Ranko introduced, something like
Ranma-Shampoo,Ranko-Ukyou,Ryouga-Akane or
Ranma-Akane,Ranko-Ukyou,Ryouga-Shampoo would be possible.)

There's a snippet from one of my current fics (not yet released) that 
kind of addresses this issue.  


     "Ran-chan?"
     "Ucchan?  Hey, how's it going?"
     "Actually, really good.  I've got some good news."
     "Oh yeah?  Hit me with it."
     "I'm getting married."
     "Wow.  Really?"
     "Yeah.  I still can't believe it."
     "Yeah.  I mean, wow.  That's great.  I can't tell you how
happy I am."
     "Well, thanks."
     "So when is it?"
     "We don't know yet.  Whenever, you know."
     "Sure.  So, who's the lucky guy?  Konatsu?"
     "No."
     "Ryouga?"
     "Hardly."
     "Not Tsubasa."
     "Don't make me laugh."
     "Who is it, then?  Mousse?  Gosunkugi?"
     "Neither."
     "Mikado?"
     "Ran-chan. . ."
     "Akane!  Ucchan's getting married to Mikado!"
     "She is?  No way."
     "Ranma!  I am not marrying Mikado!"
     "Who is it, then?  Who's left?  Pantyhose?  Happosai?  Mr.
Tendo?"
     "Of course not!  Are you crazy?"
     Akane shook her head.  "Ranma, you are a pervert."
     "Ran-chan, there is no law that says I have to marry
somebody I met in my sophomore year of high school!"

The point being...these people are young.  They can be happy and 
still not end up with members of the cast.
