This isn't so bad.  I mean, this is *true* revenge, a classic 
"be-careful-what-you-wish-for".  And you didn't get dumped in the 
Nyannichuan!  For that alone you deserve praise.  :)

Truly this was a decent job.  Either ending was good, and the second 
was more depressing than the first.  If you *do* go with the second 
ending, though, cut out the part about the self-regeneration, since it 
becomes somewhat irrelevant in those circumstances.
