I got a couple of responses correcting me on the lyrics to the Dukes 
theme in the last part. Thank you too those who found time to tell me 
this.

	THUD! Rally Vincent's car landed on the other side of the gap.
The car skidded to a stop as Rally paused to catch her breath.
"There's somethin' I don't want to have to do again." she mumbled. The 
General was long gone. 

Waylon Jennings: Well, they just got here and all ready they can do 
those jumps better than Rosco. 

Waylon Jennings: And speakin' of Rosco, it looks like ol' Boss is still 
waiting with his watch in case the Dukes are late. 

"Boss.." began Rosco "I don't see why you sent that dipstick, Enos out 
to stop them Duke boys. The only thing he'll probably do is sink his 
patrol car in Hazzard lake." 

Waylon Jennings: Uh-huh, ol' Rosco must be psychic.

"Well, for your info-mation, in two minutes them Dukes is gonna be late 
with that there mortgage payment." said Boss sounding a tad too 
self-confident. Just then the General Lee pulled up outside the county 
building. 

Waylon Jennings: Well, so much for that.

The Dukes walked in gave Boss the money and left.. with one minute to 
spare. Just outside Cooter's truck was hauling the soggy patrol car of 
Deputy Enos down the street. 
	"Looks like Enos decided to wash his car." laughed Bo.
	"He better start checkin' that thing for mildew." said Luke. 
They got into the General via the windows as always and drove off. About
four minutes later, Rally's Cobra pulled up in front of the county 
building and she and Minnie May went inside. 

Waylon Jennings: Now what'd you suppose them two want with ol' Boss.

	"That's bad news, bad news." mumbled Rosco.
"One a these days.." mumbled Boss "Jesse Duke ain't gonna remember to 
pay his mortgage... oh, well, Rosco we got other things to do." 
	"Excuse me." said Rally as she came in the door "Are you the sheriff?"
	Rosco took off his hat. "That would be me. Kgoo.. goo"
"Never mind him." grumbled Boss "I'm county commisioner around these 
parts." 
Rally held out her ID. "I'm Rally Vincent and this is my partner Minnie 
May." May raised one hand in acknowledgement. "We're just passing though
but we were just wondering if you had any criminal activity around 
here." 
Boss handed Rally back the ID. "Bounty Hunters, hm?" he began "Well, the
only real criminals around here is the Duke Gang." 
	"Duke Gang?" began Rally.
	"Yeah, they got an orange car with a confederate flag on the roof."
	"I think I saw them on the way here." said Rally.
"Well, they been givin' us a lot of trouble and my numbskull sheriff 
here..." 
	"Gdoo..." began Rosco "Who you callin' a numbskull?"
"...can't seem to catch 'em." finished Boss pausing only once to glare 
at Rosco. 
	"Well, what're the charges?" asked May.
	"Rosco!" shouted Boss "Bring me the Duke file."
Rosco went over to the filing cabinet and pulled out a file that 
appeared to be as thick as a dictionary. 
	"THAT'S the file?!" sked Rally.
"Yep." said Boss "You can go ahead an' try to catch 'em but I doubt you 
will." 
	"You'd be surprised at what we accomplish." said Rally "C'mon, May."
	They left.
Rally opened the trunk of her car and sarted taking inventory of the 
arsenal they had brought with them. 
Waylon Jennings: Now ain't that somethin'? The Dukes are bein' chased by
a bounty hunter that ain't even met 'em and judging by the stuff they 
got in the trunk of that car they're in real trouble.
