have all the information I can assemble on a series before I start writing
about it. Thus, while I *want* to write about Utena & Anthy, about Tiara
and Japoro, about the crew of the Nadesico, I *can't*, ethically. I
haven't seen their shows yet. (Sometimes, I hate the net as much as I
love it.) I have broken this rule only once. I am still amazed that my
proofreader didn't realize that I hadn't seen the series I was talking
about.

Hehe :) When I started my first fanfic, I'd seen 4 episodes of Ranma 1/2,
read three manga issues, and read the 7 fanfics that were the sole extent
of the Ranma section of the fanfic archive at the time :) And a talent for
bluffing in print :)

I'm worse. I started role-playing Futaba (of Futaba-kun Change) on
FurryMUCK withou having seen any more than the translations on the
website... nope, didn't even have the mangas yet. >;) And it turned out
that though I was using the character, I was role-playing him awfully
(letting his 'curse' be common knowledge, for instance). Now I know
better. >;)

Of course, now I have them all, and I play him on EternityMUCK, so I'm a
bit more qualified... but still. >;)
