Blame this on Megane 6.7....

It all started for me one day when I was 12. It was when I was
visiting my local Blockbuster Video store and I saw a cartoon that
got my attention. Actually, it was the "Not for children" that got
my attention.
"A cartoon that wasn't for kids," I thought with interest, "this I
got to see."
So, using deception, I managed to rent the movie and when I got it
home, instead of the "porn for starters" I expected, I found myself
laughing my head off at the adventures of a super powered red head,
her ditzy friend and the antics of the mecha her enemy made.
The movie, of course, was "Project A-Ko."
A few years later, and after learning about the joys of Anime, I
found myself at I-con. I was searching around the tables and saw two
posters standing side by side. It was two of my favorite Anime
characters, Ranma and Sailor Moon.
That got me thinking, what would have happened if their creators had
worked together on a crossover? Would have it been a comedy? Would
they have gotten serious? A romantic adventure?
Then, I found the Internet and, quite accidently, the Anime Web
Turnpike. A section labeled fan fiction caught my attention and
after writing several (and reading hundreds of) Sailor Moon fics, I
came across an SM/Ranma crossover.
I didn't like it. I forget the name and I wish it to remain that way.
Then, my ideas of what a crossover would be like came to mind and for
a while, I tried to write a little thing where Ranma and Usagi became
a couple and called it, "1/2 Moon."
However, I didn't like the way it was turning out. It was DEFINATLY
a Dark crossover, (Mamoru told Usagi to "Go to hell" in the second
chapter.] I HATE writing Dark Fics. I can read them, but writing
them always makes me ultra depressed. Plus, a lot of the things
didn't fit in with either series and making it believable was
impossible.
So I deleted it and for a while the though was abandoned as the King
of The Monsters dueled with the Senshi of Thunder and the Senshi and
Warriors fought to save the past from android enemies.
Then, I saw Dragon Ball Z: Movie 12.
And the spark for an SM/Ran. story, though now with a new element
added to it, was reborn.
And thus... history was made.
