THE PROPOSAL - TRULY EXPLAINED

Hi WW,

Uh...  what was the memory thing?

Ok, since so many can't pick this one up, and had to assume so many
things.  (I'm to blame for this...Sorry guys but I can't blame my new
keyboard)  This is my version of the fillers, and background of this
story....

Well, the linear story is that...

Ranma and Akane are married.  Ryoga and Ukyou gets closer together
because of Akane.  A wedding date is set.  A few days before the date,
Akane finds out about Ryoga's secret...Ranma gets booted off their
room...Ranma tells Ryoga that Akane now knows...they think of what to
do...they seek Dr. Tofu's advice...Tofu performs hypnosis, inducing
partial memory loss and memory suggestion(see X-files for more details)
before Akane could tell Ukyou...Akane remembers nothing of the secret,
but still keeps Ranma out of the room (though, she now thinks the reason
is that Ranma still won't eat her cooking[induced memory] or she
suspects he did something awful and Ranma not eating her cooking is a
prime candidate).  If you ask why didn't Dr. Tofu just removed memory up
to Ranma's being booted out, well Ranma didn't think of it before and
Dr. Tofu can't do multiple memory erases. On with the story....Akane and
Ranma continue to help plan the wedding.  Then on the night of the
wedding,  with love filling the air, Akane's dreams her favorite dream
and  jars her memory...making her forget everything since that very
beautiful experience for her, when Ranma proposed.

Then the rest is history....until both Ryoga and Ranma get back to the
dojo and allows Dr. Tofu to perform his hypnosis procedure again, to
Ukyou and Akane since now both recall everything so complete now.

How's that?

Now if you want a linear story written up, tough.  I don't want this to
be the first time a fic came first before the teaser Ok.  Wait, what did
I just say?  Yikes, the fic did come before the teaser....*_*

Ok, I may write this one after...oh so many waiting in line.
Those who knows the convoluted, confusing, odd way I present the
storyline in fics, thanks.
To those who don't, this one's for you....

So think about it.  Will writting the linear way make it better?  It
will defintely make things better to understand, but then your brain
will have nothing to do, but accept the story as it is....Wouldn't it be
better if I let it up to the readers to dream up of the why's and how's.
I sure think so.  It makes for better thinking...a.k.a. lateral
thinking, the obvious is not always the best way.  Maybe that's why
people nowadays are shying away from Ranma fics, people are puking all
over whenever there's a new fic about Ranma marrying Akane, Ranma ending
up with Ukyou, Ranma killing Ranko...wait not that one....Genma getting
killed, yup this one....and so on...

Just my 50 cents and all....
