Subtle -really subtle I liked this before and I like it now although I
admit I think this ending is a little weaker. you should either add a
couple of more lines or take a couple away(IMHO). Still a not a bad
idea nor a bad follow-through just not quite up with your usual
quality. With this ending I find I expected to see some of the Quote
"heaven" unquote ahead of her.

separate issue I hate to think of Kyone in hell as 
I think she qualifies under the Vietnam rules- you've seen the jackets
"when die I ain't going to Hell because I 've  already been there
Vietnam 70" as an example.
