Howdy...

I've been lurking for probably a little over a month.  Great work you
guys !!!  I've decided to try my hand at the stuff and submit a
(patlabor) fic.  I haven't really written fiction, mostly just data
collection and analysis for my MA Intercultural Studies, not great
reading unless you're into it.  

Here's my question...  I've got a few pages done and I'm thinking it's
gonna be a pretty long story.  I went through the FAQ about posting
regs, but I'm kinda confused on exactly how to post.  Here's my
setup... I'm writing in Microsoft Works 2.0 and am really only used to
writing in a Windows format.  Is it OK to use Works ? Should I save it
as a .txt file? Should I be using Editor in DOS, or ?

I would really appreciate help soon, since I don't want to get too far
into this thing and then have problems converting and adding line
and/or paragraph breaks.  If you feel inclined to respond, please be
detailed (I've got quite a thick skull (= ).  Also, to keep responses
from littering the ML, please feel free to email privately, unless you
feel it's something that would help other newbies and/or lurkers.
