Umm, the same goes for Ryoko.  She's proably several times more powerful
than Ranma in his pre-Cologne skill (possibly even his post-Manga skill)

I've been listening/reading? many people pointing out that Ranma is grossly
over matched by the Tenchi cast, Well where is it written that Ranma has to
be the most powerful person in the story. She is trapped as girl, that is
going to affect her, She is in the company of these wildly powerful people,
that also is going to affect her. 

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about Ranma's power level, but it seems
that there could be as much character development in Ranma dealing with
being the runt of the litter as there is in her developing powerful
abilities to match up with the Tenchi cast.

Maybe Ranma will be the normal one in this story. Sort of like Kiyone as
someone suggested. A sane voice in the midst of chaos, a santuary that
Tenchi can come to when things get to out of hand, and he just needs
someone to spar with and talk to. Maybe the fact that Ranma is not chasing
him, will cause Tenchi to regard her with a growing fondness, or not.

I tend to develope the story as I write, so I have no idea what will happen
until it's sitting there in black and white.

Make it a lot more fun sometimes.^_^ I have sat down to write one thing,
and two hours later end up looking at something completly different from
what I intended.
