Okay, maybe this will end the debate about the last couple
scenes of Nibun no Senshi Sailormoon ep 5 being OOC. At least,
the part about Ranma. The part about Kunou, I'm answering for
in episode 6.

Here's the problem, Robert.

Yes, all of Ranma's points are valid.

But...

If Ranma can see it, the rest of the cast should be able to, also.

The "OOC" part is that Ranma can realize this and they can't.

Either everyone should realize it, or no one should.

But to have one of the cast suddenly take a step back and say, "Whoa! 
This isn't appropriate!" and to have no one else see that... that's 
jarring.

Could this be partially influenced by the presence of the Moon Princess?
Ranma is after all semi-merged like Ryouga/Charon is.

It also makes Ranma sudden appearance of a backbone seem less strange too.

I must admit though... Kodachi attacking the Sailor Senshi makes no sense.
Why would she do it? Even in her twisted mind, she can't see them as a
threat to her hold on Ranma's heart, can she?
