How the hell do you people do it? How the hell do you guys write so
GOD
DAMN magnificently?!? HOW HOW HOW?!? Tell me! It makes me so ANGRY
that
what I have to work so damn hard on comes so easily to all of you! You
guys
don't even have to try! You constantly turn out one great piece after
the
other, with virtually no effort at all! It's not fair! Nothings Fair!
I
HATE THIS WORLD! I HATE EVERYTHING!
One: Nothing is "easy". While there are people and stories that"just
come out", very rarely is this the case. Any kind of writing
takes effort.
Arghs! That's it! I quit! I can't take this any more! No more writing
for
me! I was OBVIOUSLY never cut out for this line of work! Writing is
for
PEOPLE who actually HAVE talent, something that I lack! Something that
most
everyone else has BUT ME! You guys don't know how lucky you are!
There are many people who say the same thing about me and virtually
everyone else who's ever picked up the pen. You cannot please
everybody,
and ironically, somethings this includes yourself. Oftentimes the
writer can
be his own harshest critic. Having never read your writing, I can't say
this is the case.
If you wish to quit, then of course you're free to do so. However,
bear in mind that, while "talent" is useful, diligence, practice and
determination is a lot more useful. I look back on my earlier work and
am often turned off by what I see. Like anything else, practice makes
perfect. It's cliche, but it's true.
