It's pointless to bitch to the list, just put a line at the start of your
stories saying something like "C&C welcome, but please no spelling or grammar
corrections." Nice, polite, doesn't make me want to ignore anything you ever
say again, that sort of thing. 

It's all a matter of taste. I hate making spelling mistakes(I don't care as
much about grammar or punctuation), I'm grateful when someone points such
stuff out. But if you don't want it, make sure you ask not to have it where
it counts, in your stories.
