I have to disagree! Ukyo IS NO, form waht I can see the Garion template.
I'm not relly sure what her role is, yet, but, it's RANMA who HAS to be
the Garion template.

Well acutally her sensability is more Garion than Ranma, but take it
from the author she isn't the Garion template.  As to what established
role she plays it's...NONE.  Hehe I made if myself.  I contemplated
leaving her behind but thought it would be much more fun otherwise
don't you think people?

Following the legend, ediings wise it is the MALE
heir who will sieze Iron grip's sword and deal with Happosai(GRIN!)

Well actually Ranma doesn't necessairly have to be male
at the time, but that's the way it goes if you want to follow 
Eddings (which I am mostly anyway).

Akane  is the LOGICAL choice for Ce-nedra's role in the story. (Kodachi
is a HUGE stretch!)

True she is the logical choice in terms of love.  However she was chosen
because of the personality similarities.  If someone could convincingly
argue that say...Shampoo was more like Ce'Nedra than her role
as Salmrissa I would consider changing it.  But given temper and the
like I don't see it as extrememly likely.
